  1. Isn't the C version a dead duck?
  2. Another orhpan I'm thinking of open a home for unwanted Spydercos.
  3. Well I feel for the mods. They're stuck with whatever signup protocol the site software has. Our website at work has a forum area and every few months we'll get waves of spambots. All you can do is aggressively block IPs and email addresses and delete the offenders. When they do get through having members post in the threads instead of using the report button makes the cleanup worse. So if you see a purse or penis pill thread resist the urge to add to it.
  4. They mangle nozzles when you get an extra BB in the vicinity.
  5. Looks like this one, http://airsoft.tiger111hk.com/m184/H.K/p19933/HK3-GLOCK-Polymer-Frame-for-TM-WE-G17-GBB%28Dark-Earth%29-Gen4/product_info.html I have it in black.
  6. You can not manipulate the stock. You need to find the ideal length of pull and leave the stock there. Tuck the wire into the buffer tube fully when you figure out your length of pull. Other times if you have to collapse or extend the stock remove the rubber cap first. If constantly moving the stock is a must you need to front wire it, or switch to a gas gun.
  7. He definitely does great stuff. He's also approachable on spare parts or repairs which is a real plus in my books.
  8. I was on sale because no one wanted me.
  9. I looked at a few AEG spool type nubs when I was putting in the new rubber but they all seemed a bit wide. That combined with the 2 inner bumps on the RA-Tech rubber made me stick with the stock nub.
  10. I started stock of course and then put the brown Modify accurate rubber in with the the stock setup. It still gave me a few fliers. I put in the Angry Gun tightbore and the RA- blue that appears to be a really nice combo. I have a Nine Ball Purple to try also but I thing I may stick with what I've got for the season now.
  11. I'm running a M4 CQBR size, with an Angry Gun 6.03 x 280mm tightbore and the RA- blue hopup rubber with the 2 nubs on the inside. Steel bolt with alloy nozzle and NPAS. I've only put about 500 rounds through it so it's not broken in yet but it's miles ahead of the modify rubber and stock barrel I had in before.
  12. It's a pretty easy swap, watch these.
  13. This is a cost effective way to swap out Gen 1 mags. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/we-m4-gbb-magazine-kit.html
  14. Some local folks mentioned washers in the buffer tube to restrict the stroke of the bolt. So stock it recoils a few mm past the catch and then flies forward till caught; less travel means it has less momentum when it reaches the catch so less chance of overriding it. You don't need much.
  15. The hop on my new G17 was pretty underwhelming. I was putting a new trigger in today and decided to swap out the hopup rubber at the same time. The stock one had this weird oily grease on it, like a brownish packing grease. I put in a Modify Accurate rubber (light tan) and it's made a huge leap in performance. Putting in the Guns Modify trigger was a bit of a hassle. Teeny tiny parts just don't work with my fingers. All together on the first try though.
  16. On boots like that try to by off season. So now that spring is around the corner the heavier wintery boots be discounted at hiking stores since they want to start putting trail runners on display.
  17. On my Airsoft Surgeon G17 kit the only part that needed work was the screw that holds the front sight. It would have been nice to have had a low profile one in the box. Otherwise on a TM frame and a HK3 frame no grinding/files/sanding was needed with all stock TM parts.
  18. That's the best fix, they make sling plates like that for other firearms. It could be something from early on that's evolved out of production because it didn't perform as well as current versions.
  19. Did you check on the folks who make the sling?
  20. Another TM based HK3 build. The only thing I found to be tight was the slide release catch; I had to work that a bit so it wouldn't stick. No material removed from any parts.
