  1. New toy for my LMT Merp, if anyone knows of where I can get hold of (or swap) the shorter 10.5" LMT barrel, it would be much appreciated! Cheers Will
  2. Been using Froglube for a while now. Was told it improves the life of rubber O-rings and hop ups, so I have used it on most of my gats. Smoothed my VSR's actions up nicely, in addition to my GBB's and AEG gearboxes. As for cold temp performance, no problems for my AEGS's in -3C in January, - I don't use my GBB's when it is so cold! Once it has been applied it does stay slippery for a very long time. When it finally runs out, I will be replacing it. Only Drawback: You will get the mick taken out of you for spending a fortune on minty-Lube, that the SEALs use...
  3. These back on production? Had one years ago. Not brilliant and a bit finicky.
  4. Apologies for the Double post, but who has built the 10/22 - RA Tech M1 Carbine kit? I ask because the front sight is a long way off fitting the front of the M1 barrel, am I missing something, or will I have to mod the sight to fit? Thanks
  5. Mine arrived in around 9 days, finish is superb (not for long). Mags are a little tight, TM mags do not fit, however I am going to do a bit of sanding this eve to see if I can get a better fit... Range accuracy look good so far, put around 5 mags through. This is the base for my 'silver baller'
  6. Defo looking into that! Thanks man!
  7. Thanks - I agree. Yeah I'd just finished the 20round mag conversion, finished in matt Krylon, and just snapped it. To be honest the light is too bright, so will have to get it out again at some point... Edges will be painted a gun metal silver, then I will respray, with a more metallic looking back, and gently sand away to reveal the silver underneath... Thats the plan, but any other ideas are welcome. I also need to weather and darken the plastic motor grip, so it fits in with the rest of the Thompson.
  8. http://www.flickr.com/photos/56761289@N05/6817488251/in/photostream/ Flickr is being rubbish. - Sorry. It is a Real Steel WW2 stock. So I have done very little to the finish apart from cleaning the gun oil off. Abuse, gun oil, and 50 odd years would give a similar finish , It's my pride and joy, as there are initials etched and scored into the wood.
  9. 20 round mid caps . Modified and cut up the 30 rounder Mids, that was attempt one so a bit rough, you can see the cut. Going to bondo, re-sand, and repaint when I get the chance. Only four or nine more to do...
  10. Had mine since launch, had a leaky mag yesterday, (my first) but easy easy fix. I mean, really easy. Performing well, no hop up, use .3s, have used the rifle sight to lob bbs on to people at range. Hilarious fun.

  12. Thanks man, took a lot of sourcing and work. It's a 12.658" Noveske rail. I know there is many parts a miss, but its as close as I can realistically get it at the minute. L129a1 by WestyIII, on Flickr
  13. I guess it is a derivative, or is that a bit of a push?
