It is a low profile battery pack for ANVIS - it takes AA batteries in the two removable trays. If you want better pics LMK.

I responded that they would not work with most Icoms or Sabers because they use an MX style plug, not the SMA one in the link (the threads are slightly different, and the connector is different entirely). That will not work on very many Icom handhelds or Sabers...

So it sounds like they arent optimized for a frequency? Was this when antenna was folded up or unfolded?

Have you guys ran tests with them? What freqs are they optimized for? And Pulsipher, if you need help I can program the most popular icom handhelds for you (F30/40/50 and F4/F3).
