First tat: Shoulder was a little dropped which stretched it a bit but otherwise it is more or less symmetrical. Other than that, does it look off or out of place? Perhaps there aren't as many symmetrical circular designs on the pec so I was little worried as to how it might look. Too late now!

After some closer reading, turns out the 2" CA carry rule only applies to autos. So I guess my dinky little 2.5" was legal after all. Still, couldn't resist going over and beyond now... S&W 2.5": Found in box of ######, served me well. KA-BAR 4": manly, big balls, all that...

I've been reading in places that the 2" limit for CA carry only applies to autos but not assisted or plain folders. Can anyone confirm? The selection of sub 2" blades seem to be pretty limited. Any recommendations for something less than $100?

Yeah, confusing since some retailers show videos of their CA legal blades which look spring assisted.

California laws seems a little confusing and conflicting but could someone clarify the legality of carrying switchblades and blade length? My understanding is that they are allowed to be carried so long as the blade length (tip to handle?) is 2" or less. Running outdoors got a lot more interesting lately when I was chased down the street by a dog and I rather not put my faith simply in pepper spray. Right now, I do have a switchblade that barely exceeds 2" and I obviously need to replace it for carry if it is illegal. And not that I have a preference but can I carry an auto?
