  1. It's painted/velcro'd underneath the cover, actually, but I like the look with the cover and it's not inaccurate as I have reference material for both ways. Sets it apart from the raft of identikit loadouts, too. Wrench, screw you buddy. I don't even like beans. Seriously, thanks guys.
  2. Thanks man. Gun is a G&G SCAR-L with a Blue Force Gear Vicker's Tactical sling.
  3. Cheers bro. I ran my 1911 up there yesterday and it actually worked out pretty well once I moved it over to the right by a column. It wobbles around a little, but nothing major, and it's definitely secure. I'm gonna keep it up there.
  4. Cross posting because I forgot about this thread last night... :rolleye: So this is the kit I'm refining for Sennybridge in April. Juggled some *suitcase* around since I had my M4, and indeed since I took these pics on Friday night. The SCAR is awesome and is now not changing apart from POSSIBLY a PEQ-15 sometime down the road when the VFC comes out. The biggest change since the pics below is that the TAG padded belt kit has gone. I've put the IFAK on the left side of the rear plate carrier, and the TT hard case with GPS on the right side in much the same place. The HSGI double
  5. Now with rail covers - I consider this basically done now. Simple, simple, simple...and it works flawlessly. Awesome gun. As it sits with the rest of my gear at the moment (plus suppressor):

  7. Unless you're a lefty, that VFG is on the wrong way round.
  8. If someone said that about my girlfriend I'd punch them in the d*ck. Get back in your lane, bro. Withard and rolling-thunder, you (or your missus) both have awesome kits. Very cool. RT, how do you find the Serpa there? I run my Safariland 6004 in a similar config on my RRV (ok so it's not technically a 6004 when it's on a MOLLE plate, but whatever) and I'm finding it gets in the way with shouldering my rifle a bit. Then again, I like to shoulder my long gun Chris Costa style (tucked right in there) so maybe it's just me.
  9. I've begun occasionally minimising windows just for the view (even better in 1680 x 1050) No, those are absolutely not downloaded movies and TV series on the left there, they're just empty folders.
  10. Fair enough. I didn't realise it was actually designed as an IFAK - I assumed you'd just drawn the cross on there and designated it as such. Wrench Bender, very true mate, but surely if a guy goes down and he's in a position where moving him at all is going to be life-threatening (bullet lodged somewhere awkward, say, or a broken neck), having to roll him to access his IFAK would be a bad thing? Not arguing, just wondering why Paraclete designed it to sit right back there.
  11. Yep, pretty sure they're GSG-9s. newhotness, I'd be interested in seeing these pics, since I can't place them at all.
  12. Ok, just let me post the pics and kill that question as well, maybe... I could have sworn there were more than 4, but maybe not.
  13. You need to come to Beltring again this year so I can finger-f*** that thing
  14. The pics I'm thinking of having them running M9s, I think. No MICH and I can't even remember armour, to be honest - I think they were all running DACHs and things. Let me check later.
  15. No offense, but if you've been inspired by the pics I think you have been, this is a long way off. It looks neat in its own way, but it's nothing like the photos I think you mean. I'll try to dig them up when I have a spare minute (i.e. not right now) and I'll put them up if you want. Looks kinda cool as-is, though, so I'm not knocking it too bad.
  16. It's a Safariland 6004 on a Diamondback Tactical MOLLE mount. Funnily enough I'm selling it on (link in my sig) to replace it with a BladeTech (which is a little bit lower profile), so if you're interested, PM me.
  17. Best rig in the world. I love mine to bits and wouldn't change it for the world. An old pic - I've moved some stuff around a bit and added a couple of new bits (pistol mag pouches, back plate carrier, etc), but this is the newest I have of the rig on its own: Wearing the rig - again, these are old pics (from War & Peace 2008): Rubbish posed pics (rig is skewed off to one side, amongst other things), but at least the rig is nearly in its current form (back plate, etc). Still made some tweaks since this, but they're minor ones:
  18. Looks like they've taken the vertical pockets on the ACS and moved them to be horizontally-accessed. But that makes them almost inaccessible, so I can't see the point at all. Other than that it looks almost exactly the same, feature-wise, as the ACS. Although it is substantially cheaper...
  19. Quoting one pic because it's just so damn beautiful. I am literally in love with your pistol, good sir.
  20. Couple of changes since I took these - has NKA sharpied on one side, and O POS on the other, and I'll be running ESS NVG Profiles with them when my Rx inserts arrive. Need a FG cateye band sometime, too. It has stuff under the cover for running it uncovered, but I really, really like the look of covered lids. I can never bring myself to take it off.
  21. Not quite done (needs TangoDown rail covers, which are on the way) and maybe an FDE PEQ-15 down the road, but other than that, I figure I'll forget about this thread anyway so I might as well post it up. Simple as. G&G SCAR-L, TD QD Stubby VFG, Hurricane EOTech 553 (with paintjob and homebrew laser sticker). And of course, an AAC SCAR-SD suppressor. I really like it with the suppressor on there, but my god does it screw with the balance. It goes from awesome perfect balance, to surprisingly front-heavy when the suppressor is attached. Ah well, it looks awesome, so whateve
  22. Saw that video years ago, and had an FLV copy of it. Not seen it for years, though, and I was looking for it the other day! Awesome.
  23. I have a poster of Agent Smith from The Matrix Reloaded, and I swear there's a gas fill port on the bottom of his Desert Eagle. I think it whenever I see the poster...
