  1. vaseline is a brand name. Unless of course you're using KY Jelly then it could be non petroleum based, since they're supposed to be condom friendly
  2. Somehow I doubt that authorities are concerned about the "realism" of the upper. Otherwise why would lowers be the only part requiring registration?
  3. Using real steel parts that DO NOT have to be registered is not against the law here in the US. Yes, these are toys but it's also a hobby. Us American's like to modify things. Make things work for us in our own ways. Uppers, rails, handguards and such isn't a problem and by all accounts adds a bit of personalism to ones stuff. With all the replica's and clone stuff some people want something that's unique. Hey I've fitted many real steel parts to my airsoft stuff. Like flashlights, screws, rail covers, gun bags, rails, VFG's, bipods, optics. I have yet to get into trouble except for an em
  4. why would anyone want to spend the money to get a RS lower, go through all the registration process just to fit it for airsoft?!! Isn't part of airsoft's appeal is not having to go through all the BS of RS?

    G&G AKMS

Like I said I'm not saying you are lying or that you don't know what you're talking about. And again having some pictures with more meaning like the hopup unit, magwell and sutff. So we the readers can decide for ourselves about this. Especially, since not all of us have access to examine one in person. And if you don't feel like taking pictures than that's fine by me. I think I can survive. BTW I do believe cameras can work indoors too. But than again I haven't taken a picture in over a year so I could be wrong.

    G&G AKMS

I agree more meaningful pictures would be nice. Like with the dust cover off. A picture of the hopup unit. The front trunion area. Underside with the magwell. Area's that shows how it's built. I'm not saying you're lying but it would be nice to have pics just to see for ourselves.
  7. I think that's from a 2006 issue special of Maxim/FHM or something rather. We got so many posted up in the shop I tend to forget what's what. And y'all don't need a name to keep in your spank bank.
  8. Transactions taking place this weekend.
  9. RS Ultimak's will fit the Inokatsu/Guarder/VFC/CA Steel SLR kits without Mod's. For Marui style AK's it's a simple mod.
  10. I've got an ultimak one with just enough rails
  11. Before she goes to a new home...
  12. They must've used a preproduction model. Since the production model pics I've seen from this years shot show there is no gap between the grip and trigger guard. Looks like they remolded the grip to add the nub to take care of it. Also the production model shows a flip up front sight. Seam lines can be seen on the RS also where the upper and lower meets. And on the RS the buttstock (rear of the receiver) is a part of the lower instead of the upper as GWS has it.
  13. A bit of clarification when you mean by front end. Do you mean barrel, handguard and front sight assembly? Or entire upper receiver foward?
  14. tri-flow should work to remove the grease. Also look into hand cleansers such as orange-glo and stuff. Primary thing is to find non-petroleum based products
  15. not hard at all. That was the first revision. I'm up to stage two. Still trying to decide on the final stage.
  16. You mean gas chamber. And is it possible to reverse the lower handguard on that M83?
  17. Of course but that's the the whole point of the larue #17s as opposed to the ARMS #17s. The Larue is lighter and is adjustable.
  18. another solution is to ditch the arms #17s base for a larue one.
  19. you know a lower rate of fire improves groupings, reduces wear and tear, and keeps the game from becoming too much like the dreaded paintball
  20. What do you guys do to the mags to break them? I've had a dozen of the MAG M4's and I've only lost a few. Dropped plenty, tossed many, and haven't cleaned one yet.
  21. no I decided not to get the front grip for the EBR. I know for a fact that the one made by Sage will fit as it's designed to be a custom quick detach grip on the hand guard cover. You can source the grip from Fulton Armoury here in the states.
  22. 1. I did it for the sure enjoyment of killing all AK purists . 2. During gameplay I use an eotech since I like it better then an aimpoint. Plus the weight savings. 3. I'm waiting for Kreb's top rail and rear sight unit to be released . But not really digg'n any of the "modern grips" available. Hopefully someone will do a CAA AK grip. Will be adding the SWIFT selector too. 4. Not hard to mod if you have the proper tools. It will require an AKM body though. You will need a dremel to grind down the rear trunion rivets. A drill to pop the rivets off. A band saw to cut the square
