  1. Damn you screamin_weasel, I've got a G&P AR15 (M16VN) body, grip and front end I need to sell but pictures like that make me want to keep it, VN stuff is just so damn cool.
  2. I think it was originally on large signs attached to vehicles, then it made it's way into being a "morale" patch amongst other things.
  3. It's something like: "Stay back 100 metres or you will be shot" Then the same repeated in Arabic.
  4. Personally I'd have bought a flash hider as you appear to be missing one, and would've got a shorter front end rather than a sliding stock to go with an M16 front end.
  5. D-Boys CASV and receiver. I need to sand a couple of mm from the front of my BUIS so it'll fit on the back. Quite amazing that the receiver seems to be on par with the G&P one it's replaced for a fraction of the price.
  6. Lighting isn't fantastic, but you get the idea.
  7. Looks a nice bit of kit, have they sorted out pouches for these yet? I don't think I've ever seen desert DPM PLCE.
  8. The front is bent in the second shot.
  9. QFT, those look seriously nice. My fifth Beretta M9, fourth Marui and second Biohazard (unless you count the HFC two tone). Standard with Stainless outer barrel: Black version: Gonna get a rail to go with the black version to balance out the long mag. Was actually after a rail and comp in one that didn't cost loads, but I couldn't find any comps let alone one piece units.
  10. Swapped a HFC Beretta for this: JG AUG, Kryloned it this morning (can't stand shiny plastic). Waiting on a lower power spring showing up then I need to swap the spring and reshim. Sounds like it'd be happier on a 9.6v too.
  11. AH/AW are both charging £115 actually. And LWA are charging £110. It's still strangely high, but they might be holding out for when everywhere else has sold out.
  12. I'm pretty sure it said it was a 10mm spacer. Someone needs to get a lathe and run a load of them off, should be able to profit from it.
  13. But it should stop cocking handles falling off.
  14. ASW have said that the current run was going to be held back because of some problems (not sure if it was general problems or just QC) but the factory was told to rush them through anyway. Supposedly the one's arriving in the UK in August should be "better" in some sense (I'd imagine the cocking handle problems people are having is a side effect of the rushing) but noone's really going to know until the ASW/AH stock turns up.
  15. Hard soldering would be welding I believe.
  16. I've finally given in and I'm pre-ordering one of these today. Hopefully the problems that people are having (cocking handle falling off wise anyway) won't be present by the time AH/AW get their shipment. Best order a piston and sector gear too.
  17. evansy, best body ever. It took me ages to talk myself out of buying one of those and a JG M4 Para.
  18. The A1 as standard didn't, I've read that confirmed by a few serving and ex squaddies. Armourers added a mag release shroud themselves, it wasn't on the production model until the A2.
  19. Love that Garand. This thread is going to end up crammed with AKs though, especially with the Chinese wood kits being out.
  20. The only mention of the A2 I'd seen was it being on a poster advertising the A1. A few months seems a bit long to do small things like change the cocking handle and put a shroud around the mag catch.
  21. Will be interesting to see what they tackle next. Extending this line into A2, AFV and LSW or if they'll try another gun entirely. And whether the latter option would be something interesting or something boring like more AR15 base guns, MP5s or G36s.
  22. It says in the original review right at the start of the thread that it is 18.
  23. It'd look alot better without that bipod, or the giant flashlight. But, to each their own.
  24. Damn you people, I want one. I want to wait for an A2 but I don't think I'm going to be able to manage it Need to shift this sodding CA36k first...
  25. Not to mention surplus shops are brimming with the stuff.
