MagicalNinjaBuddy
Don't forget that all the people on the Galactica are the people sent there for a quiet end-of-their-career (except for the Marines from the Pegasus, who are no Colonial Marine Commandos, but they aren't the rejects, either). Which I would imagine would include Oompa Loompas. ® <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would never desecrate a Colonial uniform with an Oompa Loompa. Never.

Jagdraben
(Kicks Jag out of an airlock in a very cinematic fashion) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, you got it backwards. I'm supposed to kick you out of an airlock. I mean, since the Cylons are basically an exotic, over-whelmingly numerically superior force fighting an enemy with a long and proud military tradition that has been more accustomed to fighting each other until the Cylons showed up... it's funny, but you could almost replace every instance of 'the Twelve Colonies' with 'Greece' and 'Cylon' with 'Persia'.... Oh, and how about the God Queen Sixes?
0 armalite 0
Yes, you are right. But in game you can see what they use. That's not the public. In the game, you are one of them. You see what they wear. Now, if someone can get a screen cap of Raven Shield with them wearing woodland BDU's and black gear, then that's fine. I'll do that and be happy and might even give you a +1. But until then, It's all SWAT for me. If you had only asked yesterday, I'm at my dad's for the weekend and away from my stash of hideously old games. But if you're still looking for a Rainbow wooldand/black loadout on Monday I'll load up RavenShield and get prntscrn-ing.
Siygess
Ok, there are definately a couple of camo schemes used by Rainbow in Raven Shield. There is: "Black Camo" <- Grey / Black Urban "Blue Camo" <- Blue / Black / White Urban "Euro Camo" <- Not sure. Looks like someone puked on it, but it aint MC "Tan Camo" <- US Choc Chip "Green Camo" <- It's not quite US Woodland (the pattern is more vertical than horizontal and there isn't enough brown).. but you know what? It may as well be. And here's a screenie: Lockdown has no camo at all, just plain BDUs, and while I imagine Vegas has a multitude of camo patterns to pick from (in MP at least) I don't have it yet. On the BHD-in-woodland thing, it does indeed look pretty good. Here are some screenies from Joint Ops and it's worth noting that they added P90's to the weapons list in the expansion pack. Finally, on the BSG Marine front, that's also a good choice. After waiting almost 3 months, my Milspex vest has arrived (it's the one they wear on the show).. now I just need to replace the M65 Jacket I have as it's too small for me, and get me one of those Giro Lt helmets.. (vest) Here's where I need you guys to vote: Anser 1) Rainbow-based off that picture even though they're not using a tac vest, but a LBV. This would keep my uncommon loadout, with the weapons and gear I already have planned to get. Answer 2) Free-lance SWAT- based off of Washington County, Tennessee SWAT, but with a P90. This would open bigger weapon possibilities such as a 1911. So. Which one sounds better?

The medium and heavy configs are both wearing tac vests (in particular, the vest in the medium config is particularly BHI Omega-like) however they are the same colour as the camo and not black. So, if you want something more recognisable, go for the Woodland SWAT loadout.

EDIT: Remember, if I do go with SWAT, it will not be based off of one agency, but will use gear used by some SWAT agency, in other words, mix and matched SWAT gear.
CapaciousZepher
Just get some U.S. woodland BDUs and use them with what you have. Cheap, effective, pretty much end of story. You just need to make a decision Matt, too many of these threads decend into gibberish with no action taken at the end Cheers! - CapaciousZepher
Wedgie
Here's a thought, instead of spending all of this money on getting the kit for these very specific loadouts, why not just pick yourself up a set of Brittish DPM or American woodycam for next to nothing so that you will actually blend into the woodland properly? EDIT: Heh, yeah I didn't notice that CapaciousZepher had already kind of said that^.
