kayakmaxx
i just wanted to know if the SIG 552 is actually issued to any of the SEAL teams or if thats just a Marui marketing scheme. if anyone has any info it would be much appreciated P.S. Hicaps suck
Otsu
seals use all kinds of weapons, i'm sure there are SIG 552's in their arsenal. but it's not a SEAL-specific weapon of any sort. to that extent it's a TM marketing ploy. edit: teh spleling
HaVoC
Yep, I'd guess they do have them, but they have almost every reliable gun on the planet in their armoury, I'd guess PS: P90 hi-caps suck. Thompson hi-caps are flawless
IronWolf
I heard (correct me if im wrong) that they have a list of weapons that they can use (a rather long list i'd imagine ) and that the sig 552 was on the list. Though that does not mean that they use it, only that they have the option too. ps: all hicaps "suck"
Antagon
P90 hicaps are the only perfect hicaps i've ever used, Havoc
Longhairedhippy
the only perfect "hicap" in my eyes is an asahi 100 round airfed mag.
Banzai
Yeah, i hate hi caps, I am howeve a huge fan of Hogh BB midcaps, my AK midcaps hold 150 rounds, that is 150 shots straight if i wanted to, no stupid *beep* wheel
1911
I've just started playing AEG and I do not own any.... Hi-caps are not practical huh? makes BB noise, and you have to keep on winding the wheel underneath....that sucks! Ruins all the reaslim of a skirmish
Johannes
Its not funny to have like two hicaps magazine when you can have 10 lowcaps. And it's much more realistic/funnier to reaload all the time instead of just turning on a wheel to get bb's into the chamber
Drayvn
U guys will understand when u start playing properly, ull eat through 60 rounds like theres no tomoro, and ull need the hi caps otherwise ull be "dead man" all the time. I usually keep my standard mags for tracer rounds and what not, while mixing my tracers in with the hi caps. So i dont waste em as they are expensive.
Phoenix
I only use hicaps when I get a new gun and dont have $$ to buy tons of locaps. Mmmm 552, you do know there is a metalbody for the 552? tasty.
kayakmaxx
I have seventeen m4 locap mags. hicaps suck because they rattle, they're not realistic, and they are (in my experience) unreliable. And Im not a newbie, like the info says; Ive been playing airsoft more than for three years now. As for the 552, (mmmmm, metal body) thanks for the insight, but thats what I thought all along. Longhairedhippy
all hicaps do is save cash on locaps. i prefer midcaps if I can afford a few. Contrary to dravyn;s assumption, those qithout hicaps are not dead all the time. If I need a hicap to ensure victory, explain to me how I got 8 kills at my first operation using only G&P midcaps? sp00n
I have seventeen m4 locap mags. hicaps suck because they rattle, they're not realistic, and they are (in my experience) unreliable.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dont bother playing the realism card cause locaps arent even close to realistic either. Screw you guys, I like my hicaps.
Longhairedhippy
I have no problem with others using hicaps, I just get tired of the assumption that those without hicaps are newbies or will always lose.
Catchv22
I play with locaps because reloading is more realistic than winding. Airsoft guns aren't that realistic, but I prefer the adrenaline rush of reloading in combat.
Dpm
Great , looking forward to the addition of the ALL METAL replacements from Intruder and Hurricane anyone seen the new receiver ?

Tripod
I do not believe it's really a mark up by TM. The SIG guns are designated differently in real steel terms. The SIG 550 being the military rifle, SIG 551 being law enforcement and called SIG 551 SWAT, then the SIG 552 is the commando version (SIG 552 Commando) and according to http://world.guns.ru/assault/as25-e.htm it is in the same class as the AKS74U and G36c. Banzai
Yeah if the seals had to use bloody AK-47's they would, the guys are insane
michael_collins
Hell id use an ak over an armalite any day.
Johannes
i can't stand the ak, ugly from the stock to the flash hider
Drayvn
SAS all the way or should that be who dares wins? Sorry, just had to say it, ahh also dont forget the SBS, hard bastards they are...
michael_collins
True but you can fire it in any condition, bury it for a few years and itll still fire, douse it in water and itll still fire, stuff the reciever with leaves and itll still fire. Cant really fault that can ya?
Tripod
I doubt SEALS use anything from ArmaLite really. The AK47 is an excellent weapon, extremely nice. Not as accurate as the M16 but much more stopping power.
