Doesn't really matter. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> zippos don't use butane... butane is a liquid that turns into a gas in Bic, Calico and torch lighters.... Zippo's use a sort of kerosene like fluid that burns as a liquid in the wick. If you put Butane in a zippo, it just plain won't work. Link to post Share on other sites

Thomme Posted June 28, 2005 Report Share Posted June 28, 2005 Yeah I figured that out with my dads the whole lighter lit on fire...lesson learned <{POST_SNAPBACK}> that doesn't even make sense... butane loads into refillable lighters like a gas blow back... if you try to put it in a zippo, it comes out as a gas and what little liquid comes out quickly evaporates, not only that, but it's really tough to get to spray without a nozzle to spray into.
