FireKnife
Well having got myself a set of TAZ-83 i am trying to think if: A. Does anyone else wear / play in a set of this pattern. B. Does anyone know of a conflict or historical event that this pattern was used in etc, i know it was used by the Swiss and they stay neutral on most conflicts so was wondering if it ever featured anywhere. Would post up pics but my camera is on the blink. Got any ideas or pics of yourself in the field then post away. 'FireKnife'
Mr. Jon
kosovo liberation army used it. and also i think some MVD types have been seen in it. according to kamouflage.com anyway Edit for pic link: http://foreignpolicyjournal.com/wp-content...04/kosovo03.gif although from what i hear it may not be a very politically correct loadout. sierra hotel
I live in the Northeastern United States and have used this pattern to a great advantage in the fall (it really works great with all the foliage).

What Mr. Jon said, I've used it as part of a pseudo MVD load-out before (in the Autumn). Couple of articles on the KLA for you: Wiki Jane's
ninja master of coffee
If you wanted to go down a non-politically dubious route and be a bit of a nerd you could always do an OFP resistance loadout. Some of the rebels wore what looked a hell of a lot like alpenflage. Not a historical loadout I know but it would still count as an impression.

demoncase
One tiny little word of warning from the world of dense fellow airsofters.... Think twice about using this on a woodland site if that site uses red armbands or tape to identify one team An ex-teammate loved this stuff- it works superbly in UK decidous woodlands year round... But when we were on the yellow team he did get more friendly fire than anyone else simply because your average 'softer glances at his shape- sees the red in the camo and begins pulling the trigger from pure reflex response before the cognitive reasoning bit waves a little flag to say "Hang on- he's wearing red but his armband's yellow"...Too late *blam*
FireKnife
Well it seems a bit of UCK sounds a good idea, i must admit i do have loads of camo types but just want to see what this will be like and i prefer to base things on a real loadout. Joshua_Rose
Couple of shots of my UCK gear, from in game, not the best, but all I could get, even from the first one you can see how bright the patch is (I'm on the left, with the bright patch on my left arm!): but with the patch behind a bush, and the hood up, it works pretty well: really need to get some better shots... Gliderrider
Cant help thinking that the UK MOD Fibua areas set up to simulare west german villages it would look really at home, as I cant tell the bifference between the Swiss alps, and the german ones.
