Found it on airsoftnews.eu not really sure how new it is, but there was nothing posted about it on here. I assume the SVD is the same one that popped up at Evike right before April fools day. Will be interesting to see if they keep making more off beat stuff and dont do any armalites.

Just looks like another place rebranding to make it seem like they do thier own thing

thats certainly what it looks like but why would ARES let someone rebrand their T21 and put a polycarb gearbox in it? Also if thats a pic of their Greasegun (as in the finished product) then its not a rebrand of the G&G as the M3a1 doesnt have the charging handle seen on the left side.

You would be right except that they claim to be producing the PPSH, T21, and SVD. What I got from the Airsoftnews article is that they are producing their own AEGs.

do you know where the S & T Armament comes from ;) Smart & Team Armament ...not very smart name, anyways i know where they are and last time i checked they sold ARES and others totally wholesaler. Like before here people where 100% sure of manufacturer called AEG (Asia Electric Gun) its totally rebrander as well shop named Armed Forces created brand, but hey i said that long before aswell and people didnt trust ;) so believe what you will. thats my 5 cents on this deal.

It has rebrand written all over it.

Ironic isn't it? Ares, who, socalled, "cut down" Star as their middle man, is now being rebranded.

Why would they want to rebrand their own economic line, that hasn't even hit major shops yet?

Not that sure, but I know quite a few who have a Tavor, and the never have any really total loss issues with them.

Most issues I know of is the crappy hop up rubber.

Is it a case of once a bad name, always a bad name? Pure misfortune?

Its' a case of circumstance, STAR never really designed the best guns and gearboxes, but did ones that other people hadn't, ARES was the OEM for star, Star provided QC and a hefty profit margin. So you have the same guns built more cheaply with less QC, resulting in a high failure rate. Some people get lucky and their guns are fine, most don't. Just the way of life, you want it cheaper, then you get less. As for the topic, S&T Armament are jsut taking ARES guns and putting a Polycarb gearbox in? Or are ARES shipping with Polycarb gearboxes now?

I think they are just rebranded 'sportline' versions of the ARES range.

Check the Ares website for more info.

Some get lucky? Or do they intentionally ship bad guns to the UK?:D

J/K ;)

So this new brand or rebander o OEM or whatever, I dont care, but its being discussed here: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=195574 , is now offering "their" first AEG: a PPSh that looks exactly like the one made by ARES (electric blowback included) but costs 182$ less = 203$.
