HaVoC
Interesting stuff Sounds like something of a return to form for 007 after the truly abysmal Die Another Day (only worth watching for Halle Berry, frankly, which puts it at about 10mins long). I can't help thinking, though, that Daniel Craig just looks a bit wrong as Bond. I guess we'll have to wait to actually see him play the character to tell.
Sledge
Craig just looks wrong, and given this is a movie, that matters. Also, as pointed out, this is supposed to be a new start. So why keep Dench's frankly irritating character?

SilentScope
Daniel Craig was good in Munich, but I can't really see him as James Bond.
Titleist
Agreed, I also can't see Eva Green as the next bond girl. She's kinda 'meh'. I wouldn't kick her out of bed or anything, but just 'meh'
nobody
Daniel Craig just doesnt have that blend of pure manlyness and immense smoothness that a bond should have.
Titleist
yeesh, you looking for an action hero or your next date? lol
Frangible
I was wholeheartedly against Daniel Craig to be Bond, he's a fine actor but doesn't look right for Bond.. then I saw him in Munich (as mentioned above) and began to change my mind somewhat... 'transitioned from the SAS'? Oh... **YAWN**
doc_newstead
Maybe they mean the hotel? My uncle spent the night in an SAS once. He was bitterly disappointed that room-service wasn't rappelled in through the windows, and alarm calls consisted of a stun-grenade lobbed into the bedroom.
Frangible
Ah.. supply and stores....

doc_newstead
Is the script leaked yet? JoBlo is normally good for that sort of thing.
American GI
I'll tell you, If only Clive Owen was to win the new part. check on IMDB, you will agree me that he would make a fab Bond. But fomr some Reason Craig won the part. He's he's a fine actor but Clive Owen has the natural smoothness.

I just think he has two emotional ranges.. Plank and angry... I don't think his diction (oo-err) is clear enough for Bond either.. I think Rafe Fiennes would make a good Bond... doc_newstead
Clive Owen couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.

doc_newstead
I've had a good look at the cast-list for 'The Transporter', and unless I take individual letters from other names, and rearrange them into the name 'Clive Owen', he's not in it. So... where did that come from then?
SilentScope
I have always thought that George Clooney would have been perfect. Although I'm sure if the part was offered to him, he would turn it down. George Clooney is above all that nonsense now
doc_newstead
Apart from being American, you mean? Have you seen a James Bond film before?
SilentScope
What? I'm the only ethnocentric American!?
Sledge
Have ANY of the Americans posting seen a Bond film? Only they don't seem able to grasp the point that this new nerk is a poor choice, and that Bond is British. We don't want him played by Keanu Reeves, Sylvestor Stallone, or any of your other "actors."
