chas
The wood itself is too red and shiny (didnt they et the varnish dry before taking the pics?). Itll definetely need to be refinished. http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/catalog/produ...roducts_id=1237
my_plague_666
i wondered how long that would take them. more reason to go cyma>TM IMO a quick going over with a scotch brite pad will do that wood a world of good, just dulls down the shine nicely.
Catman
ohhh so tempting! It's on RSOV too: http://www.rsov.com/index.php?target=produ...product_id=2996
MDK_Marshal
To quote something that was long ago on the AirsoftScotland website: "I'd have sex with that. Worth a rub or two, at least!"
TheFull9
If you look at some of the close up pcis on RSOV, it's almost as if they've done something to the wood to somehow make it look more like how they think wood should look.. weird.
SuperJohn
Just wood with a wide grain and a tin of wood stain. Ronseal FTW!
GuzziHero
I'd Hammerite it. I wonder if its VCRA compliant with that bright orange hue. Makes a butt ugly gun even uglier.
Fin
Do want! But yea would need refinishing (and then a *albatross* woopin' to make it look like its been in the field )

Yeah but these days, ACM guns are actually worth that price. That's a Beta though, not a SU. Looks good with the wood, I must say. As everyone else has stated, the wood needs refinishing. I wish ACM wood parts would come unfinished, would save us the sanding.
chas
CYMA's plastic stock M14 is 90$; the cheapest wood stock is 115$. 90 + 115 = 205$ 205 - 168$ = 37$ that we save. But if you compare it with the 110$ of a kalash AKSu, it is a bit expensive, especially if you consider all the steel that one has and one lacks of.

Again, that price is before shipping from Hong Kong. By time it hits us here in the states, it will easily be another 50 bucks.

Utty
I'm not sure why some people are puzzled over this wood stock, it's just normal ACM wood.
