Chris North
What's new about it? Is it VFC style instead of Marui? Sorry, haven't kept up with Chinese AEGs as much lately. They've spoiled me with new releases every other week.

They've spoiled me with new releases every other week. VFC clone this time not sure if it's full steel or not. funny they seem to have put AKM HGs on it now, earlier pics showed it with late AK74 style handguards.
Anteater
Is it me or the mag is not clipped in all the way? it's not, just put there for the photo.
crash commader
well I can live without the serial numbers (i'll just paint my own on ) but for me a big plus is that they have sorted the handguards, and I know for a fact that as soon as this is sold in the uk, I will put my money down for one. blacknight
Real wood furniture, quite scrummy, I wonder what kind of wood it is?
my_plague_666
Real wood furniture, quite scrummy, I wonder what kind of wood it is? ply (laminated) like it should be. although obviously not as well finished and by the look of it with thicker laminate layers. blacknight
Thanks for that!
Gigueand
Looks good, but what (aside from the nice looking wood) separates this from the all wood / all steel AKM that is already out? I'm no AK expert, but it looks pretty much the same as what is on ASGI. Wasn't the older AKM model pinned too? | | | | | \ / Thanks, My_Plague.
my_plague_666
this is based on VFC construction and has more steel (even if it's not full steel) wheras the old one was a pot metal gun based on the TM construction
snorkelman
Anyone done a side by side comparison to confirm wether these latest CYMA pressed steel releases are dimensional VFC clones (ie internal strengthening plates same sizes, holes for the fake receiver pins same diameter, trunnions same shape and thickness etc) or just same general style of construction with wee variations of their own in non essential areas (just wondering from a GHK kit compatibility POV)
DarkLite
Word from Gunner says these are VFC clones, but use an Ino-style outer barrel.
pedro041484
nice! they finally changed the handguards..
The Crunchy Bunny
As usual, CYMA releases another one of thier AKM's, improved, just after I buy my original, potmetal, plastic furniture model. Grr.......
Bob Hogan
Does anyone know how the externals compare to some of DBoys' newer AK's?
dookieboy
It just came out your going to have to wait awhile.
Kamikaz3
Incredible. A steel bodied AKM with proper wood furniture and correct disassembly. I'm definitely picking one of these up ASAP. Excellent.
Utty
Word from Gunner says these are VFC clones, but use an Ino-style outer barrel. Meaning that the outer barrel isn't pinned to the receiver?
hymer
I hope they release a akms
Frontiers
I hope they release a akmsin the January toy show they had one AKMS in the shelf, im sure its coming soon aswell.
my_plague_666
Word from Gunner says these are VFC clones, but use an Ino-style outer barrel. all of the other VFC style clones in this generation (AK105, AK74M) are fully pinned VFC style to my knowledge. the hop up unit is VFC style so the outer barrel probably isnt LTC style Does anyone know how the externals compare to some of DBoys' newer AK's? if the other recent releases are to go by, then slightly better than Dboys. not sure about the most recent releases, as the Dboys AIMS isnt out yet and no one seem to have bought this AKM yet (there are rumours of both being full steel, but no confirmation as of yet)
Kamigawa
According to Ebaybanned, the Dboys AIMS is full-steel
my_plague_666
lots of retailers say that the 50/50 steel and pot metal Dboys models are full steel we'll just have to wait until it's actually released i guess
