    Forum updates, feedback system and new versions

    Firstly I'm going to try to document forum updates and other work completed to the site here in my forum blog. This will keep all the forum related updates in one place.   I've completed several updates to the forums today. We're now running the latest IPS versions for Gallery and Blog. There should be several bug fixes and feature adjustments with these new versions; I don't get a list I'm afraid or I'd publish it.   I've also taken comments on the trading system on board and we now have a

Inconvenient Timing, Fatal Ironing.

For varying reasons I am both happy and sad that I'll be getting a Marui M3 shorty in a day or two. The end of the Summer

Well, it's been a trying time. Work commitments have seen me taken away from the forums for a while, but I'm back, and I'm BAAAAD! First and Only

Yesterday i played at first and only airsoft adventures. Best - day - ever!   The site is truly fantastic with dense woodland, large hills and a complex vietnam style bunker complex. But what i found most amazing was the marshalls. The site owner - "Gucci" - is the stuff of legends, with the funniest safety brief i have ever heard. A Case of Guilty Conscience.

Getting better all the time...

How things have changed! When i started reading up on airsoft the newest gun was the Tokyo Marui M203 and the TOP M60. By god things have moved on fast... Everything seems, just "better" if that makes sense?   There's AEGs with spring release catches, CNC gearboxes, quick change springs, recoiling bolts, split gearboxes even a mechanical 3 round burst at long last. The Tokyo Marui type 89 even has magazines that feed every last BB in the mag. M4's are no longer limited to taking silly 600mAh

Rate of Fire

There must be an easier way....

Today was time to fit some new parts to my M16 carbine. Now i'm trying to get the sucker to take an SA80 sling, which meant buying two new side mounted sling adapters. £20 well spent....   In the past i've been a bit over ambitious with gun-modding, but these seemed simple enough jobs. The rear sling loop went on fine. But the front one, damn. Trying to hit out pins, with sod all proper tools was fun.
