Yea I wish I did that, it would be odd if I just called Deadlock and said "hey can you Cerakote a fake bolt for me?" lol. I thought about the brass deflector too, but decided against it, I think black for it fits better with the MC Black paintjob.

Got the Cloud Defensive LCS on (very VERY nice accessory BTW), AAC blast shield unfortunately won't be in for a few months, and end plate should be here soon too. EDIT: I just realized Dytac actually serializes these receivers (mine is 357 lol, but their display one on JKArmy was 651) so I'm guessing there's actually a difference. Maybe in the future I might get another one to do some sort of DMR/Recce build.

SLR 8" SBR build done. Just waiting for a few accessories (sling end plate, AAC Blast Shield, Cloud Defensive LCS, and an actual working ScoutLight head) and repairing my BTC Spectre, but otherwise all done. All accessories are real steel except for main body components and the fake MRO.

Yea, RS rail. Unfortunately the real barrel nut won't fit so I'll have to rethread it. I was honestly debating the tri-tone grey theme too, but their Multicam Black went on sale so I just jumped on that lol.

Anyone have suggestions to what kind of mags (RS or otherwise) I can mod to replace the casings for the AK74 mags? Multiple ones of mine have all cracked down the midline and refuse to be held together.

Outer barrel problem still exists, you just need to set the inner and outer barrels with RTV silicone sealant. No frame/slide issues with my 2019 kit yet anyways (my old slide broke while shooting), but the older plastic (e.g. safety selector) still sucks, mine's already broken from dry firing lol.
