  1. Alright, I think we can just chill until the performance review comes.
  2. This is all useful. It is simply here to correct falsehoods that have been posted. We don't want this review to be littered with inaccuracies.
  3. I'm in full agreement with you man. I think the reviewer is simply too excited to properly address some of these short comings. To recap, for $900 you receive a gun which has an absurdly hard to adjust hop up, no magazine, no carry handle or BUIS, and has a poorly finished receiver. Example one. This is to provide clarity for readers. On the left, the Inokatsu 2009 M4 GBBR. You'll notice it has massive seam lines. This degree of manufacturing inadequacy is not even present on the FAR more low end (Harlem versus Hollywood here folks) Dboys M4 receiver: Example two. Her
  4. Thankfully it's Chinese. Yes, some polycarbonate would have saved the lenses, but I so rarely played CQB until recently that I didn't really think of it, then one day I noticed, oh hey, my lenses are shattered. Awesome!
  5. Hey, you being in Seattle and all, do you go to Tac Tac? I'm yet to really see another geardo around here...
  6. My Surefire has seen better days: Makes it hard to get a good sight picture...:
  7. I don't think they care about how it looks too much. I'd say a long barreled, not super front heavy (like EBR) gun that has a monolithic top rail sounds like a winner in Afghanistan.
  8. Neat video I made for fun. Taken at the local CQB site, Tacoma Tactical: Might as well throw this stuff up too, considering it's known as an SOF clothing system. All newly aquired. Left to right: Level 9 Advantage BDU Pants, Level 3 Q Fleece, Cold Weather Steel BDU Shirt, Unknown Lightweight softshell pullover.
  9. It's bar none, the best uniform I have ever worn. It's indescribably win. The only downside is that it's a $200 shirt... Thankfully, I payed significantly less than that. Yea it is lol. Best face protection ever.
  10. New picture, along with some shots of the Steel BDU on its own.
  11. Thanks for the compliment. It's a replica lid actually. Looks good tho eh?
  12. Did you have to drill new holes for the MICH chinstrap?
  13. I just mean I wouldn't carry it.
  14. I guess I just forgot to tuck in the shirt, but I feel I should have. I'm considering a secondary weapon for CQB, but I'd drop it for outdoor environments.
  15. More pictures, and weapon specs here Kitlist: Uniform- Beyond Tactical Steel BDU Top Beyond Tactical Level 9 Advantage BDU Pant Merrel Moab Mids Petzl Gloves Half Ear MICH Fighting Load- 1 Paraclete Concealment Armor (500d) 1 Tactical Tailor Two Piece MAV 3 Paraclete M4 Double (One magazine per pouch for general CQB, 2 per for outdoors) 1 Paraclete GPS 1 Paraclete Canteen 1 Paraclete MBITR
  16. I can't really peg this one under a specific tag, but I don't feel like it's just something I've thrown together at this point. It's very SF, that's for sure. This is CQB bliss to me. It's just what I need, nothing more. It's light, adaptable, quick to don and doff, and VERY comfortable. 17. I'd lose the mask if you're doing reconnisance. A bright white splotch on your face certainly isn't good camouflage.
  18. I've never seen anyone hold their gun so strange. You've got BOTH hands on the pistol grip... That's bizarre.
  19. Being kinda naggy here, but I wanted to mention that you should keep your hand on fire control whenever you possibly can.
  20. Yea, that's about it. No real warmth. I'd say they are not good cold weather gloves.
  21. I didn't know there were different versions, but what I have is VERY flexible. They are THE most dexterous gloves I've ever worn, and are super breathable.
  22. It's bright, that's for sure. The only problem is, my vertical adjustment broke on it.
  23. My 416: VFC 416 Replica Aimpoint T1 Magpul MIAD VFC PEQ Unknown Tango Down VFG Surefire C3 Centurion in GG&G mount with Pelican Pressure Switch Both the Aimpoint and Surefire have shot out lenses, lol.
