So do you really trust the mesh to stop a BB without it shattering and getting fragments in your eyes? Is there enough room to wear sunglasses or something with a clear plastic lens just to stop little fragments? -
Wow, Kipper, the light wear on that P226 makes it look absolutely perfect.

Better safe than sorry. I had a decent quality reflex sight that got shot out at the very first game I fielded the thing. There's nothing worse than that feeling when you hear the two shots land and then *crack* *crack* of glass and have to force yourself to look down at your shattered sight.

Since you've got the 16" civilian barrel on there, I recommend getting a Bushmaster or other civilian AR-15 lower receiver for it.

Wow, I take it these had the colors altered a bit via Photoshop? They look great though, it's a nice effect. Mind telling what method you used?

Cool, just did some research and found out it's the M203A1 but apparently they had some issues and the normal 12" M203 is a better choice if I want something US Army accurate. G&P makes one in a "Knights type" which I assume means it's designed to work with the M4 RIS. Unfortunately it's around $200 after shipping so I guess I'll start saving.

I love that shot of the M4 with shortened M203. I like the M203 short model a lot, but does anyone know if they actually exist in real steel form (without having been modified) and, if so, are they used in the Army at all? I'm trying to build an authentic M4.

All you have to do is click the picture and look at it in high-res. The Tokyo Marui branding is clearly there as well as the "Cal Sub Sonic" marking found only on the TM P90 silencer.

I can probably get a video up soon, just need to get a new propane tank. It's got a real nice recoil and a good sound to it.

I'm yet to have any problems with the mag venting. I did have a BB jam recently but that's it. Unfortunately it hasn't gotten a ton of use lately because my propane tank ran out, gotta buy another.

The review's been finished since the second and is being reviewed. However, since this is something I was hired to write, I can't post it until the person publishing it is happy with it, and even then I'll probably have to link to it. But it'll be up soon I would think.

Are all the parts the same size as the real EOTechs? I as thinking that since I want one in FDE and DragonRed doesn't have any, I might be able to buy a replacement hood and battery compartment for the real steel and put it on this thing. -

Haha, I like that. I'll wind up doing it again once I can find my atlas, a decent deck of cards, and a good knife to throw into the picture instead of the ACU.

hooplabuga, your art is excellent. Keep it up man, those drawing look great. I'm also incredibly tempted to make a real life version of that couch armory sometime. That's probably the most awesome thing I've seen in a while. I can't imagine the response I'd get from the team when we're loading up before a game and I unfold my couch to get my gear.

Came that way. Can't tell how they're on there. If I figure out I can remove the paint without taking away the trademarks entirely, it's gone.
