  1. Sprayed up my ops core in pseudo-arid cadpat tonight. Aside from the IR flag and Gopro it's done!
  2. Sprayed up my ops core tonight. Aside from the IR flags (Still waiting on those) I should have assembled, finished loadout pics up by Sunday
  3. That is a paraclete coyote brown triple 9mm. However, I do prefer my hsgi pistol mag pouches purely as they're multicam lol. If you fancy the paraclete, drop me a message.
  4. Headgear: Underarmour tactical beanie. Peltor Comtac 1s. Peltor PTT. Heroshark mesh glasses. Rig: LBT 6094b with triple mag insert. Paraclete triple 9mm pouch. Pantac double smoke grenade pouch (swapping these out with tactical tailor multicam pouches this week). Shirt: CPgear custom OTW arid cadpat shirt. Trousers: Crye gen 2 custom cut combat pants. Boots: Merrel Moabs. Gloves: Nomex flight gloves. Apart from the devil's brigade patch and the maple leaf, the patches are team things and not part of the loadout.
  5. Cheers for the tip, they are now. I didn't want to cut them up but I've taped them up under the pads now
  6. JTF-2 kit coming together. Next step replacing the MC with tan crye g3s, adding Ops core lid, proper holster for the pistol, proper MC pouches for the grenades, and suspenders for the trousers. Pic courtesy of Sam Garside photography.
  7. Snapped on the way back to the regen. Pic courtesy of Sam Garside photography.

  9. Sprayed up my C8. Rough striped paintjob first, mucked that up with a pad and some spirits, then went over that with sand to give it a wear job.
  10. Got my JTF-2 C8 set up and sprayed. Just waiting on the 1 inch extension to make it a correct length barrel, and going to add a sling option soon.
  11. Pardon the absolutely atrocious webcam pics (and my ever present unintentional trout pout), hoping to get some better snaps of the gear on sunday. JTF gear taking shape. War face Still to add: IR maple leaf instead of the fabric on the left shoulder, Ops core (painted arid cadpat), LBT 50oz hydro, 226 and bladetech holster.

  13. Sir was a plonker and ordered an OTW shirt from CPgear They're not cheap unfortunately.
  14. It's a CP gear OTW shirt in arid cadpat. 130 canadian dollars. http://www.cpgear.com/store/clth/otw_shirt.htm I'm going to replace the zip pulls with 3mm coyote paracord Simples.
  15. Cheers mate, I'm pretty happy with it. Nice and lightweight, although the pockets are zip-up and jingle terribly.
  16. First bits arrived today for my jtf-2 kit. Will be replacing the fabric maple with an IR, and losing the callsign entirely. A coyote 6094b would be more accurate than my MC 6094b I think and would go with aridpat pouches better so will be swapping that out. If anyone's got some tan genuine CP gen 2/3 combat pants in 34l they want to trade for the same in multicam, please drop me a shout

  18. Arid cadpat paintjob on the ops core? That's pretty much what I have planned for mine when it arrives Great pics!
  19. Night vision are PVS 15s. V lite on the side and Strobe on the back, and IR flag is for identification; in theatre it prevents your own team shooting you and allows them to see your location. Arc rails allow mounting of accessories like goggles, comms, cameras and lights etc. Modern helmet gear varies greatly from unit to unit and country to country. I myself am currently working on a Canadian sof kit, which generally seems to be much more pared down and 'bare bones'.
  20. Even showing up at his door doesn't work anymore, as he's apparently started getting his wife to answer.
  21. Should have had you pointing to the barrel 'this is the number of fuchs I give' etc
  22. Someday there will be a loadout, somewhere, that Ckinnerley will not give his opinion on how to improve. But it is not this day.
