  1. i got a Harry. Lhasa Apso/yorkshire terrier cross. he's mint.
  2. my biggest fear is my car being nicked. and being so old, and convertible, i'd imagine its pretty easy to do so. frost on ths inside of the car i can deal with. water dripping in i can deal with. only being able to do 70 at a push i can deal with. somebody slashing my roof and hotwiring my car in about 5 seconds flat would ###### me off however.
  3. i once heard a volvo doing 30 mph had more inertia than Jupiter
  4. perhaps i sound harsh, but if you're going to do illegal street racing in public areas, and you crash, you deserve everything you get. if I was illegal street racing, and mowed down you mum because i was driving like a twat, im pretty sure your view wouldnt be "street racing is great fun" i dont drive, but i've fallen off my bike plenty of times, mostly in post-pub state. i'll be driving soon, but after having watched a video of my car (1967 triumph spitfire) in a crash test, im pretty sure i dont want to crash .
  5. thats the nicest shape Mondeo aswell if you ask me. heres the front of my car, the backs not done yet haha. just found out theres a 2 week delay on my new soft top, and with my test next week, means it'll be at least a week before i can go for a spin. which sucks. ps. im aware my front valance is on the wonk slightly, shoddy fibreglass repro thing, but i like to think of it as the cars cheeky smile haha
  6. just finished re-spraying the front end of my spitfire. sprayed in the back garden, with minimal kit, and free paint, looks very good, amazing considering the situation. rest of the car is nearly done now, just gotta get the lights and bumper on the bonnet, spray the tub, and its ready to go. 100% free re-spray "is teh awesomeness" the design is based off triumphs 60's LeMans spitfires.
  7. thats beats everything on 3 counts - its a VN, its gas powered and its gold.
  8. its a mk3. i was planning on getting a mk4 or a 1500 because they are easier to get hold of and cheaper to buy. knowing full well the mk1,2 and 3 looked miles better, cash flow dictated i couldnt afford one in good enough condition. but this came up by pure chance, and mechanically and structually its 95% perfect. its just a few small aesthetic jobs and the respray thats stopping this being a real nice car. i would clean teh engine bay to brand new condition, but this is my daily car, not much point really.
  9. any excuse.......... i need to tidy the inside up a bit, but i started that today. also need to fit the soft top, and probably get a re-spray, but other than that, its just about sorted. i got the hammerite out today and painted all the insides until i ran out of paint, the boot, the bulkhead, the floors, the petrol tank. also cut some carpet for the boot, retrimmed some vinyl in behind the seats, and gave the exhaust a punt to put it back int he right place after i twisted it lowering it off the trailer yesterday. my mate is coming round tomorrow to sort out wiring and p
  10. i forgot that happens when you delete photobucket pics. oh well, i got some of my actual car now, afer a quick cold water and old t-shirt washdown, might get the polish out tomorrow. the car was a bargain, after rummaging through the car, i found pretty much all the carpet pieces i need. which eliminates one of the 5 jobs i need to do to make this car show-worthy. bonus.
  11. did i delete some pics accidentally ? perhaps i didnt post any. it looks exactly like this one, same colour, same everything. mine needs to be resprayed though. i'll get some pics of mine later on when i get it.
  12. brought my first car last night, a 1967 Triumph Spitfire MK3
  13. just got my new watch through. nothing fancy or uber-l33t, just a nice watch for a decent price, seen as the one i was using started to turn my arm green lol. very ncie watch, couple of nice features, removed a couple of links and it fits perfectly. see through back is a nice touch, and its waterproof, and the second hand is sweeping, which is pretty smart looking. im chuffed, 27 quid posted.
  14. i'd say this was a better anniversary pic to keep on topic heres the pic i use right now. thats me, a big guy in a small car :
  15. i played some guita hero - i cant get into it though, seems.....crappy to me. however, if anybody has a broken or cheap old guitar hero guitar, let me know, because ive got a bit of a plan for an old 'proper' guitar in conjunction with a guitar hero one.......................
  16. i live near a pub that deals only in belgian beer, called the belgian monk. couple of hundred different belgian beers at a guess. some are absolutely amazing, some taste EVEN WORSE than american 'beers'. horses for courses i suppose, but that cloudy, pale hoegarden stuff aint for me.
  17. and heres all the experiments - 4 different front ends, 2 or 3 optic options and the choice to go loud or go quiet. all off the same base G36K. no idea which one i like best, but some mixes just looked real bad, i didn't even post those ones haha. cheers - sorry for 2 posts, couldnt get all pics on one
  18. was experimenting this morning with my CA36K. i'll apologise now for all the seperate pictures, and it they offend people eyes haha. i got a second hand G36 full length grip yesterday, and heres what i did with it -
  19. these are my own 3 AEG's, i half own a metal and wood ak47 and a ca249 with my bro aswell. more pics in the respective gun's threads, and loads of the G36 with 4 different front ends, 2 optic rail options, and flashider/silencer options.
  20. i see your houses and cars, and other ######, and raise you some awesome stuff new trainers - my last 7 pairs of trainers have been Adidas Sambas. but i couldnt find any in a sale, so i went for something else, these were half price at 35 quid. bargain. and i treated myself to some nice new stuff aswell. just about everything ever recorded on video of Led Zeppelin, same deal with the Stone Roses one, and 2 of the most interesting books i'll probably ever read. and an extreme ironing calendar also, i had a new years BBQ with my mate, so we brought some Tesco Finest bur
  21. yeah its pretty heavy. tbh, i could be well out with the weight comparison as ive not had either gun side by side since last summer, due to them both being broken haha. all i know is, after carrying the fully loaded G36 in that pic, my arms hurt just as much as when i carry the minimi.
  22. a lot. i dont have the gun with me at the moment, but it weighs quite a bit. i dont actually use the elcan on the gun, which saves a good bit of weight as that itself is pretty hefty. but all loaded up with the launcher, a moscart and the large custom battery i keep in the stock, its pretty heavy. from memory, its probably close to my CA249mk2.
