  1. Looks like it is a great gun. Though it looks a bit shiny in some of the pictures. I'd rather have a standard ACR/MASADA, no RIS and a collapsible/folding stock all in FDE, and I'm also not a fan of the MagPul sights, but that's just me!
  2. Oh no no, I'm not trying to argue negatively! Just trying to explain how it does work, but I don't see the real practical use of it along with a SAW as the battery is usually in the box mag.
  3. A SAW is designed to take STANAG magazines, which the Weesatch is also designed for. Even though he uses a box mag in the pics, he can dispose of that and use the mags in his rig. The only problem with that is that he'd have to find a way to carry his battery, but it's perfectly possible.
  4. I found my Velcro at WalMart, haha! It's got really strong glue back and both hook and loop sides, I got the black but I guess they'd have them in other colors. But Lerch posted a really good option too.
  5. Well, My MadBull piston went to all hell. It is the one with 7 metal teeth up front and all but 4 of them stripped clean off. they just collapsed into the piston. I could almost not even get the spring out. The piston head also disconnected from the piston and turned 180 degrees. Besides all that, the rest of it was fine. The piston gave away after one half day of airsofting and then two games with minimal fire on the stock spring(which is not an M120 as commercialized) and a 9.6v battery. I will go ahead and add in these parts: -Piston -Piston Head -Cylinder -Cylinder Head -M120 Spri
  6. Lucky, I also want to play in the snow and rain... The few times it rains here it gets so slippery that I fear that I'll fall and break my gun. It's really hilly and because the ground is soft, there are mud slides so airsofting after rain is not the best idea over here.
  7. How many PALS rows are going across the front of the torso? Looks like it fits well.
  8. The M4 seems to have completely ditched on me, finally. The compression sucks, therefore the velocity is horrible. I noticed that the G&P piston had worn at the little hole where the nub from the piston head enters, making the piston head able to twist slightly. Because of that, the screw from the piston head kept working itself loose so that ultimately the piston head would separate completely from the piston. I changed out the G&P piston with a MadBull piston with 7 metal teeth. I'm not really disappointed in the G&P piston for the damage as it could have been prevented with
  9. I believe that it is, though the KWA is modeled after the Tokyo Marui, so there might be more parts to switch out than just the body. If I had the money, I would buy a G&P body and barrel assembly. Not that the KWA's are bad but the barrel is a two piece(I believe) and will loosen up and wobble a bit. The body can only fit a two piece Hop-Up and I would really like a one piece instead, but you would have to get an aftermarket receiver for it as the body splits like the real one and does not pull forward like the G&P's or similar, making it impossible to use a one piece without br
  10. Because it looks thuper badass But really, I've always thought that was kinda obvious... and it looks like you need to have the knee pads lower, I know that it's probably hard to get them lower without buying longer pants.
  11. I've had mine since November 2007, from Airsoft GI(Last one they had at that time, it was a sale). It chrono'd at ~395-FPS at the time. I ran into a few problems, some minor, some a bit bigger but nothing major(in my opinion!). I will explain every problem to the best of my ability. Problems: -Stripped Piston -Wobbly Front End -Piston O-Ring(I'll explain this one) -Broken trigger -Hop-Up problems... To start it off, I ran into a problem with the piston, well, it stripped. I had been using it for quite some time, lots of rounds through it. I got it in Nov. '07 and the p
  12. You can hire me to play with them for you... Awesome collection, I'm just sorry that you had to pay for it all though
  13. Oh, I thought he was going for the L119 CQBR since the rest of his kit seems to be great for a UKSF impression.
  14. Yeah, just lift up the cummerbund to cover the Velcro on the belly. Then it should fit much better and it wont sag as much. So that it sits like this: http://www.specialforceskit.co.uk/store/images/ravweb.jpg See how the cummerbund covers the Velcro on the belly that it attaches to, when you wear your, it covers about half. If you pulled it up to cover the Velcro completely it should fit more securely and snugly, therefore a better, more comfortable fit to your body. Hope that helps Sweet kit, I really am tempted to get some DPM and a RAV, but I cant spend my money on that no
  15. You should pull up the cummerbund, it should cover up the all the Velcro, not just half of it.
  16. You can get them at WGCShop, they're under the "other" products in the "combat gear" section, they're on the last page, last product.

    $1K club.

How long is that DD rail?
  18. You're supposed to be able to take the lower part of the rail off. Then just attach the launcher to the barrel like you would with a KAC style RIS. Well, that's what it looks like, at least. Freaking sweet gun, Snigel! Awesome L119, looks tits!
  19. Bunny: Some save it, others don't. I've never had to deal with the hoofs when we split up the meat within the hunting team. Wrench: Yes, yes it is...
  20. Oh stop it you! Its a moose knuckle, I should know! I suppose he hunts, we also cut off the hind legs from the moose before we skin it.
  21. I hope this is the right place to ask, as I didn't want to start an entirely new thread for a dumb question. I have been looking into buying a CIRAS for ages and now that I have finally saved up enough dough to buy one, I'd like to know a few more things. I don't plan on buying a real EI one, I don't see the point of that so I have settled with the PANTAC version. Now the problem is sizing, I've been trying to figure out the sizing problem for a while, to my measurements, I should fit a size small, according to a measurement of BALCS cut armor, not carriers. Is the PANTAC CIRAS accurate a
  22. Pkekyo-Nor: Well, if you need that many then it looks like a great set up CPOWilder: I'm really liking it, I've always wanted one! I think you should keep the CamelBak, I think a MAP would make it look too much like the rest of the CIRAS's out there, not that MAP's look bad but they're just quite common. I own a MAP and I like it but there just seems to be nothing to put in it besides the bladder(which sucks, the PANTAC one has started to leak after only a few times of use). I'm sure that you'd like it, though if you have nothing to put in it then stick with what you've got, it looks
  23. I know how you feel, man... I need one too...
  24. FELDJAGER: I'm lovin' that RAV, but of course you already know that Pkekyo-Nor: Sweet RRV, but are all those mags necessary? I think I like your older set up better, IIRC, but I like that you play around with it often, it's smart to change to find out what works and what does not. Good job! CPOWilder: Nice CIRAS, I really like that it has the green Velcro on the quick release like the real one does. Where did you get it? Cool set up man, I love the CamelBak in M81, it adds a certain characteristic to it that you just don't see often in vests as everyone seems so anal about matching
