  1. Ask Darren at ASPUK for the MB-06 cylinder, they do sell them but for some reason they are not listed on their web store.
  2. Replied to the man above, however no pics but once I get my new cylinder I'll get some up. One word of warning to any MB-06 owners who are looking to upgrade. Cylinder! If you chuck a bigger spring in the stock cylinder it will come apart and stop the rifle from working! I speak from experience here. I reccomend Airsoft Sniper Parts UK for spares. I have the upgraded piston and it's very well built and light. I've spoken to Darren at ASPUK and they do have a batch of cylinders being made but it could be weeks before they have them in stock. Be aware that the MB-06 cylinder is diff
  3. I used tip ex as I've used it before on other things. You can do exactly what you describe above but instead of using water use a tiny amount of white spirit (checked that it doesn't do any damage to the slide). I also had nothing else around at the time and it was one of those "I want to do it now" jobs. It's been painted into the engraving so it's not coming out easily, it's the same on my scar's stock numbering and that's been going for ages! I'll try the paint next time, sounds a little easier. Thanks for the input.
  4. I whited the trades on my Glock and I think it looks much better than just having the trades engraved. What do you guys think? The pictures show up some smudging where I didn't manage to get rid of all of the excess tip ex (yay for bodge jobs!). But to be honest if you aren't looking for it you can't notice it.
  5. Revamped Tokyo Marui Glock 17. Added a 5KU compensated barrel and slide and brand new TM frame ($5 from eHobby Asia!) complemented with some upgraded internals. Cycles faster on the metal slide than it does on the plastic one! I have got a micro red dot and adaptor for it however the MRDS doesn't like to be adjusted for vertically so it's useless. EDIT: Looks like the adjustment on my sight WAS doing something, doh! Either way it doesn't look like I'll be getting on with the set up, doesn't feel right to me at all and doesn't suit my stance. Up for sale it goes!
  6. I've been through the places suggested on here for replacement parts however still I'm down a couple of bits on my G39c. The roller on top of the hammer has gone walkies (ironically the tiny pin that holds it in didn't disappear!) and the hop arm has snapped meaning I have no hop. Any ideas where I can get the parts?
  7. Need Sig 552 mid caps!

  8. Not my pictures, these were quite some time ago as well! Playing at The Mall.
  9. What's on your mind? Finally, some free time to get the SCAR, M60 and M4 back up and running. I've not had this kind of bad luck with AEG's for quite some time!

  10. Please note: No pictures until tomorrow due to no camera battery. With a recent spring/gas day coming up at my local I thought it was time I went down the bolt action route again. On a whim I spent £110 on a rifle which pretty much sold itself to me on looks alone. I read no reviews apart from the one on the website and thought to myself "If it's bad I can either upgrade or sell it". A couple of days later a large parcel was left looming in my porch. The rifle, a bottle of .3 Blaster Devil BB's, a pack of 10 rifle targets and a bottle of Abbey silicone grease were tucked safely inside.
  11. I am, just not sure what to be honest. I could get a standard M4 length barrel to start or one of the flashy RIS kits. Too much choice.
  12. I managed to take this out for a skirmish on Sunday and was thoroughly impressed with the performance. It chrono'd on the site chrono at 340 FPS and was easily matching every other AEG for range. Accuracy out of the box was quite good as well. I ran it with a 7.4v 800maH lipo battery in the stock tube and the rate of fire was a touch slow. A better battery or mosfet will improve this, just need to decide which one to get now. Here's the gun in stock form (or stock as I bought it considering you can mix and match the uppers and lowers). And here's the config I used when I took it
  13. Cheap nasty picture of my beautiful baby. For anyone that complains that the EGLM is black, beggars can't be choosers when the price is exceptionally cheap.
  14. Just had an opportunity to chrono this, most shots were hitting around the 344-48 mark with a few at 350 odd and a single one crashing the party at 374 FPS. That was the 3rd shot through the chrono and the rest were around 340 so I'm sure it'll pass the chrono. This was using AIM Top .20g BB's. By torch light, it seems as good as any normal M4, pretty accurate as well but I'll test it more during day light and get some target's shot up and posted on here for people to see. So far everything is nice and smooth. 9/10 at the moment.
  15. So, debating what to spend my Christmas money on I went to Airsoft Armoury today and spent about an hour deciding what to buy. I saw the Spectre MWS stuff laying about and asked who ASG had rebranded this time, to my surprise they have actually gone ahead and rebranded VFC stuff. Having not owned VFC before and also because the modular nature of it all I decided to take the plunge. I bought a lower receiver with a crane stock and a CQB upper receiver. First Impressions I walked out of the shop carrying the gun in two pieces, drove to KFC, had food and went home. As soon as I got home B
  16. I've made several orders from them and they have always been reliable and a pleasure to deal with.
  17. A word of warning. If this is anything like my ICS L85 then the cocking handle is extremely weak and will snap off!
  18. I bought one of these at the War and Peace show this year and whilst my opinion on it will come as mainly negative (EG, mines got a few problems!) I do absolutely love this gun! First off, it was running 377 fps so too hot for sites, the hop has been the bane of my life and part of the front gas assembly broke off! Add to that the fact that the flash hider wobble about a lot and the gun constantly jams. I feel that from the above I may have got a bit of a raw deal, however that has not stopped my determination to get this beautiful rifle working. I love the feel and the weight of it,
  19. Also I'll chuck mine in, not here just to reveal triggerhappy16's old car. Also I'd like to say that bar the black out, the number plate is untouched!

Nothing special but did the job beautifully while I had it.
  21. My baby, planned updates are a Phantom Kit and a Aimpoint for when I'm not long ranging it. The stock, foregrip and cocking handle were black but got blasted by some OD krylon. I think the rebar cutter flash hider suits the Aug aswell. Also King Arms midcaps, if the spring plates are glued/taped down they should be fine and not blast open like my last box of mids did.
  22. My baby, simply swapped out the HFC slide for a KJW one so I get a nice two tone with the benefit of a rail.
  23. You can fit a 9.6v nun chuck battery in the para foregrip. The maH on my one is 2300 and it lasted all day but i'd take a spare just in case. Is anyone else having problems with M4 magazines feeding? Mine likes a Dboys hi cap that i've got but doesn't like Star or Mag midcaps, they wobble about far too much and don't reach the feed tube without being held in.
  24. I don''t think he means that, look around the board and it''s all code instead of images for certain buttons or icons. For example at the top: <{F_NAV}> ArniesAirsoft Forums<{F_NAV_SEP}>Site specific<{F_NAV_SEP}>Site Errors and Suggestions
