Any word on Hurricane speed gears? How about one of those Li-poly 11,1V batteries by Firefox? Anyone tried one of those? Forgot asking the most important thing: do you think it makes sense ordering fromWGC or UNC instead of Gunners? Do they really test the chicoms prior to shipping? WGC/UNC only use express shipping for guns, wich is more thoroughfully searched than airmail by spanish customs.

Afriend of mine wants to start off his airsofting-life with one of these (yeah, I've already told him he should be gunner first and then decide, but Counterstrike players dont take advice from noone). Anyway, as he has no experience with AEGsor buying in HK, he has asked me to do the shopping and tweaking for him. Now what teaks and upgrades do you think SHOULD be done to make this reliable, durable and efficient in a SAW role? For example: Do all theA&K M249s have slow stock ROF? Do you have to install speed gears to archieve 700-900 rpm? Or is a 9,6/10.8 battery enough

Get a chinese one, but make sureit has no ghost reticle(s), is height adjustable, bright enough to use it outdoors. As of now, I cant assure any of the chinese ones actually fullfill that.

Stupid cellphone camera Anyways: DBoys full metal M4 thats gonna be turned into the M4 Snake snatches from a PMC in the first trailer of MGS4 and WE Tactical with chromed (polished) trigger, hammer and front part. Will also be engraved next week. Ill make better pics then.

In a week or so I should have pics of my WE Tactical: tomorrow Im taking it to the engraver to have some custom markings on the slide done, RS Kimber grips are already fit, I sanded the front part (dont know the name) to make it look chrome and I still need to sand the hammer and trigger. Does anyone have a disassembly guide for the WE 1911 TActical? I need to take out the trigger and the hammer and have NO experience with GBBs. Thanks!

How easily could you convert this beast into a 6mm version? Not by players, but by the same company, to make a more skirmishable gun? I know it IS skirmishable, but many fields dont allow its FPS nor 8mm BBs.

Has anyone been able to find a rail to put on the handguard and not have to place the grip that much forward?

Sorry having to say this, but that green is just awful. I think it would look a lot better if you used a different shade of sand or brown on the green parts. But Im sure this is exactly how you want it to look, so enjoy it (mine is a total lemon).

Just wanted to let you know that the CLONE Serpas Dragonred is selling do NOT take the the WE 1911 Tactical because of the rail. Pretty stupid move, IMO, to clone the old Serpa. I also purchased a pair of resin cast tan Kimber grips off of ebay, they fit with minor modification: an exacto knife should be more than enough to do the job. Dont know if I like the 1911 or the Serpa better, so maybe I end up selling both and getting a P226 (or maybe a real Serpa that takes my stupid WE).
