Anyone from Hong Kong?

Don't want to sound negative, but what's the point of two bases directly facing each other with not much space and cover between them? Although each base might be well thought-out it's very predictable where the enemy comes from and it would again play like any other no-brainer game site in HK - instant shoot'em up. :D

Hi. My friend and me are looking for a game for tomorrow. Anywhere, any style, we just have been living too long without skirmish. Does any of you have propositions? We have our own equipment, but if the field is not easily reachable via MTR/KCR/cab, we would need transportation....

So if you need some cannon fodder, just send me a PM ^^

You live in Kowloon Tong. Festival Walk would be a nice place to play.

Disclaimer: Don't do it, was just joking. :D

sigh....

I guess there's no pleasing everybody....

Thanks for your criticisms. I appreciate it.

ETA: The offer still stands to come visit the site and maybe we can work together to build up the site. I'm not giving up on you yet!!! B)

Been there yesterday with a U.S. Marine and were lucky to meet a another group full of real world guys (Spanish Special Forces, Canadian Reservist and U.S. Army 101st Airborne).

I was told there will be a big mission game on 2nd December 2007 - apparently invitation only to guarantee cheat free and committed teams.

I could see modifications to the site (even a broken car site now), but at the end of the day, quite a number of people including the Marine were pretty displeased (exactly the same reasons I stated before). Especially one of the poorly set up jungle areas was barely playable and the massive swarms of mosquitos were even only a minor reason. Certain people told me they will not come back, not even for the mission game.

That's just to give you some feedback from the customer's end.

I still think it has potential, but only after a radical reconstruction.

KWP, which group were you playing with? I was there on Sunday. Wouldn't be my group, would it?

ETA: Were you playing with Tony; he was using the A&K M249?

UPDATE: Macau Wargame Site

Just received an update email from the Marketing people in Macau:

You can bring your own gun and all equipment if you rent the whole site for your own group.

They are negotiating now with the Customs Dept. about a special arrangement.

I was told the total area size is 2.000sqm. large and even includes shower facilities and other amenities for relaxing before and after the game.

I will receive an official price list and other details later today.

I think this is encouraging news. :D

EDIT: Btw, they opened on 15th this month.
