gooz
Hi what is a good skirmishing pistol with good range and accuracy that preferably a gbb and is also not to difficult to get started with for a noob. (which pistol would you use if you coud only have a pistol?) Price range:around the £100 mark Thankyou for any suggestions
w733commando
Unless you really have to get a gbb, the TM mk23 socom is brilliant. It has incredible range and accuracy, and is perfect if you want to be stealthy.
gooz
I guess i could live without blowback after seeing the reiveiws on it thaks for that also whats a guestimate on how many shots you can get out of A a regular sized can and B a magazine fill thanks
nine
the TM mk23 socom is brilliant. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> except for the fact it has no blow back... buy a tm 1911 , has range and accuracy, and a blowback feature.... its a lot more realistic then a mk23
LONGURPOP
Tm hi capa 5.1 from 6mil you going to a skirmish with just a pistol??
TheAverageAsian
My vote would be for the TM Hi-capa's. Great range and accuracy with a snappy recoil. Tons of aftermarket parts and some 31 rounds with a generous gas reservoir.
w733commando
except for the fact it has no blow back... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Blow back doesn't make a pistol any more effective, in fact it makes it less accurate as you have to re-align after each shot.
gooz
Tm hi capa 5.1 from 6mil you going to a skirmish with just a pistol?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hehe well i havent given it ALOT of thought but in games i think its so funny playing with a pistol and if i got shot by a pistol and i had a aeg i wouldnt feel to good

Xaccers
KSC USP £60 posted from www.ehobbyasia.com Feels good in the hand. With £100 to spend you can get their special which includes taclite and holster. http://cgi.ebay.com/EAC-KSC-USP-45-BK-Airs...oQQcmdZViewItem Otherwise a TacMaster is great, runs on green, feels good in your hand with the hogue grips, and the safety, mag release and slide release are all in easy reach of your thumb. nine
Blow back doesn't make a pistol any more effective, in fact it makes it less accurate as you have to re-align after each shot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yea.. you know real guns..... have blowback, so its stupid to hava a non-blowback gun. Non blowback is stupid
gooz
why ever not(apart from the pain) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I guess from this comment that airsoft is different from gaming : so if im running round with a automatic weapon then and get single shoted by a pistol it would I thought be a bit embarising/funny/etc one of them its amazing thought the sound of the socom althought that is just you tube
danponjican
I think an HFC all metal M9 GBB is a great option.
gooz
I think an HFC all metal M9 GBB is a great option. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think i was looking at one of those erlier if thats the one with the full and semi auto? but i couldnt find it in stock anywhere. Also how many shots can you get from a can of gas (is a gas pistol an expensive option) and what would be the best sort of site for a pitol if you can get them P.s if the 2 extra questions are asked to often dont bother answering them ill just have a search if you dont
gooz
I cant find the hfc anywhere in a uk shop
Slade xTekno
Blow back doesn't make a pistol any more effective, in fact it makes it less accurate as you have to re-align after each shot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're forgetting the Mk23's long trigger pull. gooz
does any body think highly of the glock 17 tm as there is a 3rd gen out and it does have auto? or is that not so good on the range and accuracy
Rob15
yea.. you know real guns..... have blowback, so its stupid to hava a non-blowback gun. Non blowback is stupid <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yea.. you know real guns..... have recoil, so its stupid to have AEGS with no recoil, AEGs are stupid Serious note, the Mk23 may not be GBB buts its sure as hell one of the best most effective airsoft pistols ever You're forgetting the Mk23's long trigger pull. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which really isn't that long unless you buy the cheap STTI version. danponjican
I cant find the hfc anywhere in a uk shop <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought there were some on ebay... If you get a GBB, you should get the propane adapter and use a can of propane. It makes it dirt cheap to shoot them.
Rob15
Not in the UK it doesn't, theres very little saving between a can of ICS Green gas and a can of propane, infact the only saving would be on postage....
resz
Im suprised no-ones mentioned AEPs yet.. The TM Glock 18c is awesome and the last skirmish i went to there were a fair few CYMA clones around. Just another option in terms of GBB vs NBB
Romulus
I would say that any TM gen 3 GBB pistol would work out for you. I would personally recommend a TM Hi-Capa as thats what I currently use (I always go pistol only) and I have another on the way. The main good points of the Hi-Capa are that: a) the TM hop-up unit is second to non b ) its magazine is large enough that you don't have to worry about running out of gas with Hi-Flows, c) Its mag can carry 31 rounds so its capacity is only beat out by WA SVI's, d) it has a huge upgrade potential (mine are anything but stock) e) it has a longer barrel than most of the other pistols recommended (112.5mm in the 5.1) My upgraded Hi-Capa can outshoot any other gun that I have handled and I have been able to reliably hit a 12in x 12in metal plate at ~40 meters in several different testing sessions.
