shmook
Also, 115m/s giving 120 feet distance? My maths makes that 377fps, and around 36 metre range. Not brilliant...

scorch
I have an almost stock clone M4 doing that with significantly less fps. All it has had done internally is a TM rubber.
shmook
I have a marui pistol doing that... And a stock Cyma M14 at 345 fps doing 60 metres plus...

tacosanche
its the barrel from a g&g g96, cut down to 20 inches and painted.
kojak
Spent the weekend rebuilding my AW inside and out. I'll be adding a Marui L96 mag for decorative purposes. Any tips on a spigot mounted bipod? Something like this and this, but with an airsoft pricetag.
Moving_Shadow
There aren't too many airsoft replica's of the Accushot stuff, there might be some CM versions of the parts you need, but IIRC, there aren't. With any luck, I'm wrong! Nice rifle.
Moving_Shadow
Found an old picture while having a clear out. Another member of my collection.
shmook
[Any tips on a spigot mounted bipod? I've no idea on the innards of a gas 338 (I'm guessing that's what yours is, with the folding stock), but could you not mod a Well/Warrior L96 spigot mount into the front of the stock and use one of their bipod mounts? kojak
I've got a couple of those (this rifle is a Well MB-08), but I was thinking of something a little nicer, without the tri-rail. Is the Maruzen bipod any good?
shmook
No idea! Could you not butcher the tri rail for the spigot itself, and fab that onto a bipod of your liking?
Moving_Shadow
Is the Maruzen bipod any good? I've owned the Maruzen bipod, its very nicely built, but its not the best bipod around because due to its design, its not very stable at all.
bankz5152
KJW 10/22 - Rather pleased with the RA-Tech wood stock, pretty good quality. Though soon as I get my real one ill swap stocks as and when needed Low profile scope mounts on the way too
kojak
I've owned the Maruzen bipod, its very nicely built, but its not the best bipod around because due to its design, its not very stable at all. That's a shame. The Ares AW338 comes with a replica of the Accuracy International bipod; I wonder if it can be bought separately? Mine is nearly finished, just need a muzzle brake and that bipod. Moving_Shadow
That's a shame. The Ares AW338 comes with a replica of the Accuracy International bipod; I wonder if it can be bought separately? I have a STAR AW338, which is identical to the ARES version, and I don't use that bipod that it came with. Its up for sale if you're interested?
kojak
Thanks, but I ordered something already. The AI bipod is essentially a Versa-Pod with an adapter, so I'm hoping I can make one from a cheap VP knockoff and the Warrior spigot. So, picture thread. Here's my loadout for an upcoming game:
frogfish
Kojak how do you like your viper mosquito hoodie? I kinda made my own version have yet to finish it, but just need to tack the paracord grid on.
