amateurstuntman
I'm a sober alcoholic and before I sobered up I used to do things like that to people. What a complete *albatross* I was. Not even a classhole. One of the spiralling series of inhuman things I did and one that was the start of the process of realising what an absolute knob I was being was when I hospitalised a guy who was beating up my ex-girlfriend and a couple of people who tried to stop me. The problem was that I also hit a policeman (I didn't know he was a copper, he grabbed me from behind) and he and his mates beat me nearly dead with batons. Due to the extent of my injuries and the fact that my ex convinced the guy to drop the charges I escaped the potential charge of attempted murder. In my youth I would see things like this and think "good drills". Now I just think what a douche bag, there's no excuse for that kind of behaviour. The way I see it is this, he is breaking the rules. He got caught, tough *suitcase*. The fact that she shopped him is irrelevant. Justice would be to shop her to his (obviously reactionary) parents for something she has done. Even arranging for his parents to find that list would be a bit too far I think. He has potentially ruined her life. We all know what a bunch of choads high school kids are, in the era of global social notworking sites and depending on how weak willed and impressionable she is she might have to move states and change names to leave this behind... my_plague_666
He has potentially ruined her life. We all know what a bunch of choads high school kids are, in the era of global social notworking sites and depending on how weak willed and impressionable she is she might have to move states and change names to leave this behind... oh come on, at the end of the day all thats happened is people know who she'd like so nosh off. big *fruitcage* deal. plenty of my mates/acquaintances are fully aware of various lasses that i'd shag should the opportunity arise it must have been very embarrassing for her, but at the end of the day she's not really much worse off for it. who knows it might even get her somewhere with one of the lads she was after besides, IMO it serves her right for being a killjoy when she knew the consequences (ever heard of live and let live?), and being stupid enough to keep physical evidence of something that private. didn't she ever think 'what if...?' Seraphim989
I'm a sober alcoholic and before I sobered up I used to do things like that to people. You used to rape, assault, and attempt triple homicides? Anyways, its just high school. People do terrible things all the time, and they always think its the end of everything. Desolation mkII
I'm just going to hazzard a guess here, and this is just a wild stab in the dark, that Stunt is not at high school, yet he thinks it could be very harmfull.
Seraphim989
Wait, I was talking about the original thing, not the rape...
amateurstuntman
Yeah, perhaps but I think you can't just discount the damage things like this can cause. The things that happened to me at what the Americans would call high school (I think, how old are you in the first year of high school?) are what caused me to start drinking in the first place... Sure live and let live, but don't you think his response was disproportionate? She shouldn't have left physical evidence hidden in the bottom of a cupboard in her room? He shouldn't have left physical evidence lying about either. In fact as far as we can tell all she has done is fantasise, she hasn't nailed anyone and I don't think her parents will have banned her from that. He is the one who has actually broken the house rules... If you want to live life by your own rules, move out of mummy's house fella...
greg
You chatted up an under age girl? I did that! I had no clue & gave her the bast part of a night, plastering her with JD & coke. Thankfully I only got as far as giving her my number. It came as a real shock, when I got a call off her dad the next day. Saying he'd found my business card & wanted to know what I'd been upto, all night, with his 14 yr old daughter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully, I knew the organisers at that particular 'over 18's' club. Who were rather unhappy that an under 18 had produced false ID to gain entry. They were also very happy to confirm that I'd been involved in nothing more than conversation. Turned out she had a row with her folks, dressed up like a ###### & headed off to the local goth club, for the night, just to pee them off. It came as a real wake up call, on two fronts. First, I had absolutely no idea she was a minor & second, her Dad was younger than I am. Oh *suitcase*! That was the very last time I spent my time or hard earned, on anything remotely under 30. It's no real loss, as I've never really been attracted to the girly look. I prefer 'women', if you get my drift. Greg.
Seraphim989
her Dad was younger than I am. Greg. So unbelievably awesome. You should've given that guy a dressing down. He needs to learn to respect his elders.
greg
So unbelievably awesome. You should've given that guy a dressing down. He needs to learn to respect his elders. Funny you say that but I did. At first, I thought he was a jealous boyfriend, so I got a bit stroppy. Then he dropped the bomb, stating that she was only 14 & he wasn't some kid at 35! (I barely remember 35 ) At which point, although apologetic, I took a different tack, & asked him what the hell he was doing letting his baby girl out, to a club in Central London, that didn't open it's doors until Midnight, dressed like Elvira!!!!!!!!!!! I pointed out that he should contact the club, to see how she had gained entry, as it was members only & needed over 18's I.D. I also told him that the club organisers, would be able to confirm that I was still there, long after she had left,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, as I was banging one of the barmaids! (I figured it was worth a shot, as I'd been having a laugh with her all night, while getting the JD's in. ) I then reassured him, that If I ever saw her in any of the cubs again, I'd ring him, to let him know, where she was. Fair play to him, because he did ring back later, (having phoned the club) to explain about the row, saying he was worried sh1tless! & he hoped I could see where he was coming from. Which of course I could........................ Lucky for me she didn't put out! Greg.
greg
I broke a homeless person's fingers once Which is good 'n' all. But next time, try soaking them in olive oil & sticking them in the microwave for 10 seconds. Greg.

greg
That story is awesome and really deserves a space in the quote thread! If you are referring to 'i nearly done a 14 yr old'? It's been said a few times, I have been very fortunate, to have led, 'a life less ordinary'. It does seem poetically ironic, that I have a million tales to tell my grandkids,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but no grandkids. I don't regret this as I have absolutely no interest in parenting. Back to the thread: It intrigues me that we now have a generation, that is 'rich' in virtual experience. Gaining emotional intelligence, knowledge & wielding power, through a screen. I had a similar experience to the girl in the op's example: A mate of mine was in hospital when I was about 17. On the way to college, I bought him a porn mag, for a laugh. I stored it in my locker & blow me, if someone didn't break into my locker, that very day! Same sort of thing I guess but on a local level. The difference being, that I actually had to face, the 50 or so folk who decided I was a 'perv'. As opposed our girl here, who will probably never see any of the millions of people, who are now aware of her 'secret'. I do feel, that no matter how 'rich' the virtual experience is, you can't beet the real thing. Greg.
Punkypink
the film Cape Fear is based on what I did after I was wrongly convicted once... Seen the film Hard Candy? They had to tone the story down a lot from what actually happened. Guess who its based on

Punkypink
Or you could skip all that hassle and just shove a cat in the microwave Do that and you can take part in a scene re-enactment of Hard Candy, only this time there won't be any ice-numbing trickery. Skarclaw
Hard candy is a well good film, I like how the pedophile guy was based on the sterotype of a mac user.

I had to go look up the movie to see if that was as sexy as it sounds(it is by the way). But that seems like a quite interesting movie. Granted, I know the plot now, but oh well. He is the one who has actually broken the house rules... If you want to live life by your own rules, move out of mummy's house fella... not at all. i say again, apart from embarrassment she's really no worse off. he's lost his social life for 3 months. i cant see her getting abuse for it, any good friends will be there no matter what and lets face it, a lot of kids these days are ditching their V-plates at about 14 (plenty round here i know of anyway) so it's hardly considered weird or un natural to want a bit of action even at a young age. as for whether she's actually done anything, the list says she's sucked off at least 2 guys and been eaten out by one. so much for just fantasising i think thats being a tad unfair on him really, i mean we dont know how old he is i guess (although his language sounds fairly mature, i doubt he's way under age) but who honestly goes through their teens without EVER drinking under age? not a lot, and odds are she's done it as well. whether his parents agreed with it or not is irrelevant, him having a few beers before legally allowed wasnt doing her any harm and assuming she had an idea of what would happen to him she was just being needlessly spiteful. that, in my mind, justifies an equally malicious revenge. amateurstuntman
Again, fair play. That's exactly what I would have thought when I was 18. I don't think that any more is all. Sure everyone does things they want to keep secret. Some are better at it than others. If you know that drinking gets you a 3 month grounding, (which I don't agree with by the way, any punishment that severe is going to cause the child to loose all respect for you, assuming he had any to start with) then you should really do a better job of covering up. I can't think of anything my parents would have done that for but you bet your *albatross* I would have gone too the moon and back to conceal any evidence if they were the type of morons who would overreact to that extent. From them and my siblings. What happened to taking responsibility for your actions? It's not like she framed him or made something up, the beers weren't hidden like her list was, his fault I say. amateurstuntman
Sure but that is my point, if he had given the list to her parents that would have been fair play. What he did has the potential to do a lot of real harm to her. Most kids don't have any real problems to worry about and so in lieu of that they will sake something relatively trivial to an adult and will make someone's life a total misery because of it. Usually they will do this until someone does something else to bring their attention. In the case of this girl I think it will be a long time before that happens, especially if it becomes a meme.
