Blokhed was selling his some time ago. Could be worth your while to check if nobody's bought it yet.

Yea I think I remember checking while back but unfortunately found that it already had been sold...(pretty darn cheap too...)...but thanks

Ah well, my search of that gun is for a different topic...if only the regular version was still available...

On another note, Ill probably order the Target some time this weekend as soon as I transfer some funds to PayPal. Say, Gunnman, How is and how much is the shipping usually on KIC?

Is there a button on that site to translate it into english?

No. Just Tiawanese language only.

As I stated, they CAN speak and write nigh-on perfect English, and have no problem selling to American buyers (UK buyers would have to ask him if he would ship guns to you), but they chose not to have English translation as an option.

I never asked, and frankly, I hope they don't. Seeing the Tiawanese text scares people away from the stuff they have. Who the hell else has a Shoei STG44 2008 version for sale?

Or a TK 10/22 Hogue?

Not that I would ever buy one of those guns, but they are there for the taking...

So I didn't know that the manufacture for the Target pistol is the the same as those Mad Max shotguns clones that were done awhile back.

Upon googling their name (??), I found this

http://www.pcstore.com.tw/51818/M01237422.htm

(cheaper): http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21011288584842

Spare barrels...though It looks like a wholesale...I also found that the stocks and fore-ends were sold separately as well.

(cheaper also): http://www.pcstore.com.tw/888toycity0509/M09196152.htm

http://www.pcstore.com.tw/888toycity0509/M09187780.htm

Which brings me to believe that somewhere on the net, shells are being sold separately. I'm still searching for those at the moment, though any team effort is appreciated >XD

Alright, they replied to my email stating that they can get extra shells, but its an undefined amount of shells for 4.80 USD. I am going to reply asking how many shells you get for 5 bucks, but I think its just 1.

But the prices are still low according to their conversion and paypal fees. The 13 inch model is 94 and the 8 incher is 87. I'll probably place the order with 10 extra shells after I get the reply about the shells.

Unfortunetly, Ruten shop and auction requires a broker in Taiwan to order that stuff. They don't ship out of their Country.

Bummer...though I didn't really have high hopes for it anyway...

Would love to be able to get a hold of an 8mm barrel though - it could make the Contender...more Contender-y

Ouch, those shell prices are pretty harsh...Even at another Taiwan shop they're 4 bucks a pop...and Marushin X-carts are hardly priced any better...

But still, nice to know that its still available, thanks for the confirmation.

so i placed the order for an 8 inch model and 10 extra shells for just under 170 shipped. they said that it would take less than a week to get the shells, so i hope everything goes smooth.

now i just need a holster for it and a couple of shell carriers i can stick on molle. i found some that go on belts, but id like a molle opition.

they have been pretty good with communication so far. i had to prod them with an extra email to get an order confirmation, got me worried for a couple days, but they apologized and said that they should be able to ship it out on Wednesday.

when it comes down to it, don't order anything off their website. do it through email. they accepted payment in USD and it was pretty painless. only problem is that in total, took me about 2 weeks to place the order from getting the stock confirmation, to getting the final quote and getting the order confirmation.

Usually takes me a few days, but it seems the first time is always slow.

I like Rick. He's pretty prompt about customer service. I hate it when I email a place like Sanko or Boomarms and have to wait a month for them to respond. The guys a KIC are pretty fast for being some obscure Taiwanese site you can only find while surfing the net.

alright, just got the target in today and i have to say, i really like it. the gun is about the right size for the way it looks, fills my hands nice.

the quality of the build is about KJW levels. nice materials, not great, but its a bit more hard wearing than a chinese or WE pistol. i have been fiddling around with it all day, and there isnt a lot of usage marks. on WE pistols, the pain on the impact pints of the hammer would already be stripped, but the finish on this hammer is still almost completely intact.

the shells are pretty nice, but a little inconsistent. one of the 12 shells i have is different from the others. the rest of them are the same ID (BB size) all the way through with one o'ring on the bottom and 2 at the top. the odd one has the same bb size ID from the top down only to the last 5th of the shell. it gets about 1mm narrower for that last 5th instead of having that other o'ring, but, even with the smaller beginning hole, there is no difference in the velocity i get out of that particular shell. you can stuff as many bbs into the shells as you can fit, so it can be used as a single bore, break open shotgun and not just a pistol. the only thing is that, while experimenting, i found that one of my shells jammed while the BB pushed passed the double o'ring at the top of the shell, but this only happened once in the few dozen round that were fired out of the gun and occurred when i pushed the BB passed the double o'ring into the body of the shell. this tells me that the shells were meant to hold the BB in the double o'rings rather thn fire from a bb floating around in the body. however, i get about 30 more FPS out of a bb fired from the body of the shell rather than nestled into just the tip.

its not very consistant. i get between 425 and 470FPS out of it with green gas at 73ºf depending on how the BB is sitting in the shell and how tightly the shells o'rings grip the BB. the shells are made of brass.

this is the 8 inch model. you'd be expecting over 500 out of the 13inch model. so these things are plenty powerful. i was thinking that i might need to get the power up hammer spring for the digicon, but i dont think i need it anymore.

the barrel in this thing is the only thing that really disappoints me. its a kinda poor, but at least nicely polished, aluminum and poorly crowned. should be brass, but i will probably make a new one out of a madbull barrel.

also, the end cap of the barrel is a hard rubber plug :\ KIC just yanked it out, put it in the box with the extra shells and force threaded in a WE 1911/M9 thread adapter and a large orange flash hider. i promptly yanked out the orange bits and plugged the rubber end cap back in. i will probably get a proper suppressor adapter soon.

the grip feels nice, the back strap is rubberized, but the whole think is made of (including the forgrip) a janky plastic. the pistol grip will be repainted because it cannot be replaced, but the forgrip i will try to replace with a real one, but due to the way this attaches, im not sure it will work. at least there is no creaks, i just dont like the way the forgrip looks.

i should also mention that i haven't been able to get a good fill on the thing, i cant find a good angle and i keep dumping liquid gas everywhere. the gun comes with a couple fill extensions to aid, but they never helped as the grips fill hole doesnt line up with the valve perfectly. will report when i get the hang of filling the thing.

will post pics soon, i will answer any questions. i have taken some of the gun apart already. i have taken out the barrel and removed the pistol grip. will take apart the gas chambers and trigger assembly soon to check it out.

I get the same kind of inconsistency out of my Marushin X Carts. Found it helps to have the o-rings that retain the bb lubed every once in a while. From a lot of monkeying around, there's a sweet spot where the bbs are held back tight enough by the o-ring that the resulting back pressure gives the bb an extra boost. But getting to that spot is difficult so I lube them for consistency (all at lowest reading).

I'm glad everything worked out for you.

While the Contender is far from my thing, it is an interesting clone of an old Digicon design. I sigh in disgust when I see an aluminum barrel, especially one that is not crowned (like, any NBB by KWC). Digicon used to make grips and foregrips, but of course, they are discontinued...

Only thing I see that is in stock is this one:
