discodante
There's some photos on LCT's facebook page now with the wood kits installed on the unfinished steel bodies. Can anyone take an educated guess as to what kind of gearbox would be in there?
Wingmann
My guess would be a propietary gearbox. It has to be quite long, and there's good space for height.
ED-SKaR
My guess would be a propietary gearbox. It has to be quite long, and there's good space for height. Why does it have to be long? You could use a short feed tube to take ammo from the mag to the front of a v3/v6 gearbox. There's also nearly enough room for a minimi gearbox.
discodante
The receiver is definitely much taller than a real one, so they've got a lot of room to work with.

There's also nearly enough room for a minimi gearbox. Why doesn't it have to be long? LCT would have to copy the Minimi design, since they don't have any, and making a new one makes more sense than jury rigging an old one, be it V3, V6, Minimi, M60 or other.
