Crandall
http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...P-MB-184_srch_1 Marine Bull dog one.
JCYC5
They might decide to go WA-1911 style on different bodies... not that I mind...
Kipper
i noticed that a few days ago but i thought nothing of it theyre churning out loads now aint they

Makaveli
Anyone know if they will be releasing any more 100 USD metal bodies?
Rec
Anyone know if they're going to release metal bodies again, that have actually realistic markings? Marine Bulldog, please...
Holmes
It's a US thing. Like it or leave it.
Rec
What has this got to do with "US things"? Only thing I critisize is the lack of realism, Marines use Colt-rifles.
freq88
And the Corps would enver allow that engraved on the side of their rifles. G&P released a "newer" version of the Jolly Rogers one that had SHTF instead of AVASTE YE and slightly modified to accept older marui gearboxes.
Catchv22
I think Rec has brought up a good point. Even though G&P are bringing out metal bodies with fancy trademarks, not a single company makes a reciever with FN trademarks, even though they're the ones who have produced all of the government's M16s for the past 18 years. Lance Jackass
Doesn't really serve any purpose though does it?
Catchv22
Nor does your comment. They're just nice to have.
ED-SKaR
does that shot selector say "safe" "semi" and "oorah" ???
Rec
Doesn't really serve any purpose though does it? It's picky, but no, for me it doesn't if I spend 140$ on a metal body, I want authentic trademarks on it. This kind of problem has probably been discussed too many times already, but I'm just a little angry that there seem no more originally trademarked ones out there. I suppose this has to do with ICS and/or Cybergun licensing Colt Trademarks, though...
Lance Jackass
No seriously - whats the deal with the trades? Are they pisstake or what?
Catchv22
Lance, if you don't care, then why are you asking?
Lance Jackass
I'm asking, are they real or just pisstake ones? As in, does someone, somewhere in iraq actually have that trade? Or is it just a made up one? And more importantly....has anyone seen a diemaco one about?
Rec
No seriously - whats the deal with the trades? Are they pisstake or what? Do you mean those Porsche, USMC, SEALs etc trades G&P and Hurricane make? No, they have no real counterpart. And more importantly....has anyone seen a diemaco one about? Guarder once made a 'Canada' body, but I suppose it's out of production. http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i..._Metal%20Bodies
snorkelman
they could do a blank one (with an annual subscription service that send you a fresh set of stickers for it every month at 10 bucks a pop) stevie
sturgis
Anyone know if they're going to release metal bodies again, that have actually realistic markings? Marine Bulldog, please... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> actually, just after that (quite ugly imho) marine bulldog thingie, they have now released an M16A1 body edit: seen here
Rec
Yeah, sorry, I meant M4 and M16A3/4 bodies strange enough that the old AR15 bodies still have original markings. they could do a blank one There actually is/was(?) one. Fine with me.
Jimisin73
Ok *flame retardant undies on* Actually even though I'm not aware of any RS counterparts for these trades, there is an american military tradition of units buying specialized presentation weapons as gifts for departing CO's or other VIPs so it's not incomprehensible that guns with these kind of trades could exist. If you like them buy them if not don't, but I don't see much of a point to slagging the fact that they are available... Hell I'd love it if a company sold a metal body with custom trades i.e. you send them the images and wording and for a nominal extra fee the put them on a blank reciever... Choice is a good thing. BTW the new bulldog ones are a bit over the top even for me...
Kipper
i must admit i really like it
Holmes
I meant it is an American thing as it appeals to Americans, sorry for any confusion.
DarkLite
I suppose this has to do with ICS and/or Cybergun licensing Colt Trademarks, though... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We have a winnar. G&P did sign a deal with Cybergun, as did ICS.
