Pdubyuh
I've only ever had Mead once and it was quite nice, a bit unusual but i can imagine if you got smashed on it you'd have the worst hang over! I could be completely wrong but that's what my mind tells me when I taste it lol.
DeltaZero
1st BBQ of the year. 100% success rate, 0% burn rate. Great success!
scorch
Can't wait for the first bbq. I bought some spices today for the meat. The guy milled them down in front of me, and I haggled him down to less than a third what he wanted. Paid marginally over £1 for a sandwich bag sized bag of 12 mixed spices. Might go get some different stuff if I can get it that cheap.
paranoiddroid
Mead hangovers have incredibly Totton hangovers so so much sugar so the sugar crash and hangover combined
amateurstuntman
Started running again the other day. Today I ran with a retired (4 years older than me) Gurkha. Smashed him.
amateurstuntman
Bought an entirely unnecessary, very expensive piece of technology so that I can gather unnecessary biometric data about a hobby.
hitmanNo2
I spent many, many hours cleaning the car. You can now eat your dinner off the engine bay.
shmook
Wrestled the old oven to the tip, negotiated them to let me in to dump it as they were closing, and fitted the new one. Went out and hunted some food down to cook in it. Grr.
scorch
Hunted it? What did you have?
shmook
It had animal bits in it... frozen pizza Caught it running free in the aisles of booths!
hitmanNo2
Images of shmook running down the aisles of Tesco blasting chiller cabinets with a O/U. Safety glass raining down everywhere, clutching a peppered Goodfellas over his head in victory ha ha.
shmook
It was a goodfellas! You never run in tweed, though. Damn un-gentlemanly.

shmook
Indeed! Striding towards your quarry in a robust manner. That pizza never had a chance!
paranoiddroid
A tactical bimble and god I want an airsoft over under its got to the point where I've seen on ebay in the use receiver parts kits and I'm wondering could it be modified to set off a goblin she'll?
Bovinedog
Or the aps shells. They work well with the long barrels. Although thinking about it, they're a bit hot for skirmishing. I remember when blob face shot someone with one at close range. Not happy face

scorch
Firing 12g flares by the look of it.
ED-SKaR
Firing 12g flares by the look of it.haha, it's just the way the shells look. They hold 3 BBs in the front and don't hold any gas at all in the internal reservoir because they leak like a river. I've always planned to get some more modern shells to make it functional but it's a bit of a relic and I don't want to ruin it... I may have to just sell it on.
scorch
Yeah, probably best. That "wood" looks like it'd be brittle as hell.
ED-SKaR
The fake wood is actually pretty chunky plastic, the whole thing is pretty chunky plastic! Nicer picture
paranoiddroid
Right all you have to do take that an awesome cqb beast is: Step one, take the inner barrel out by removing the rubber bits that hold it in place. This gives you a pair of open barrels allowing the use of shells that don't require an inner barrel. Step two. Take the original shel, remove the bb holding bit, measure the bit that holds the gas. Take a tube that is the same length of that gas chamber and both fits down the barrel of the gun yet at the same time won't block the path of bbs flying out of your shells of choice. Take this tube and cut it so it is half the length of the gas chamber of the original hudson/ wa shan shell. Step three. Insert your spacers into the barrels of the gun and test fire. The removal of the inner barrels allows you to use shells that will scatter more readily plus it means you can use things like the airsoft surgeon slug shot she'll and the goblin paint ball shell. By cutting a set of spacers slightly less than half the length of the original shell You have created a situation where the AS/Goblin/Tanaka shells which are RS scale shells will engage with the ejector normally and so the gun can be reloaded easily. The mad max guns with the right shells are amazing and are so close to perfect. I want a full stock longer barrel version preferably and over under but at this point I don't care any more. I either want that mad russian escort based shotgun to come out or someone to actually make the over under. I have plans I have a trigger mech design I just need the machinist... or I need to pin RC down, chain him to a desk and pay him to make custom guns. You can get that gun to kick *albatross* at cqb without damaging it. Ed see8ng you wielding that shotgun plus your modified 1911 and maybe a thompson or the echo1 BAR in a single breasted suit with a black homberg would make.me very happy. And for my.contribution to the manly thread I have been shopping for very very stylish knives. Knives that are impractical and useless but have this sort of aura about them. They will enter the uk without a spring but still they are cool. I am buying a switchblade to add to my collection of pretty knives that never get used. I went for rosewood as the white pearl with brass looks odd lm with a pinlock style mechanism rather than the modern button because I want it to be really traditionally 50's. Unfortunately the only black pearl handle was a modern button lock at the pivot point rathe than in the handle and it wouldn't make that iconic noise. I did buy a white pearl handled switchblade bottle opener in the same order and I am getting a benchmade 42 styled bottle opener balisong as well.
shmook
If you can get a switchblade in you're golden... It is an offence to import, but if you "already have it" (bin all paperwork) you're good
ED-SKaR
*snip* Ed seeing you wielding that shotgun plus your modified 1911 and maybe a thompson or the echo1 BAR in a single breasted suit with a black homberg would make.me very happy. That's far to much effort when I have more project guns than working guns! I'd rather sell it to someone who can do it justice (or hide it in a cupboard as it's a colectors item now) The Baby Machine Gun is dead, but I'm building it anew, I'll also be geting the GBB Thompson when it is released. I already have a fedora and will be buying myself a waistcoat at some point (once I'm more active and can loose some weight )

The bottle opener will be fine hell men kind sell the dam things! Ed darling sweetheart.... If you sell it can I call first refusal?
