thatguy404
Just seen on facebook that this is shipping next month. Stop on empty, and must charge it to continue shooting.Recoil system under the top cover (i wonder if aftermarket covers will fit ok) Front wired also. mags switchable between 30-60 rounds like the AR - ERGS. I for one, am quite excited!
bladerunner168
I had a TM AK102 which was OK, this looks like a better proposition, actually could go commie for this one.
blobface
I'm... okay with this. Were the KWA GBB AKs' body made out of steel or pot metal? *quick Google shows that almost nothing was steel in the GBB version of the gun.. Unlikely to see KWA change the material for the ERG version...
Got Wood?
Also interested in one of these. Although I wish they had done a 74u as well. If you're going to put a full stock on a weapon though, put the battery in there. You probably won't be able to swap out the hand guards for real furniture thanks to the battery
Isamu
Nice, looking forward to the reviews and takedown vids =D

No reason not too really.
Got Wood?
Ah, good stuff. In which case I might start saving...
BioRage
Ah, good stuff. In which case I might start saving... 74U and 105, and I Got Wood.
Brigg
Got wood, I assume it's front wired because the stock on this one folds. So they're probably using the same receiver for the aksu which has no plastic stock to put a battery in. Makes more sense that way.
Habakure
It does say this is front wired.

thatguy404
They put a video up on facebook again today, I cannot seem to link it.No view of the RHS to see if the charging handle moves (see TM RECOIL) Be interesting to see. Still, providing aftermarket parts fit (top cover, front end,) I'll deffo be picking one up.Sure they will announce the 74U very shortly
Faded Mars
The KWA rep says in reply to some comments on their Facebook page that the bolt does not move during firing. Saves on battery life I guess, but pretty boring.
BioRage
The KWA rep says in reply to some comments on their Facebook page that the bolt does not move during firing. Saves on battery life I guess, but pretty boring. If recoil is ample, that's good enough for me! I have gas for my moving bolt needs.
thatguy404
Aaaaaah, =( That's lame! The bolt (cover) not moving on the AR wasn't too much of a big deal, but the AK (and scar) it's a pretty fundamental part.

harborne blue
Been thinking of an AK for a while and this one ticks all the boxes for me. If it's as solid and the M4 ERGs then it will be a very nice gun indeed. Just hope it's got a QC spring as they're usually hot out of the box.
thatguy404
They do mention a quick change spring,.
Got Wood?
The lack of moving bolt though! Yikes might be a deal breaker
BioRage
The lack of moving bolt though! Yikes might be a deal breaker ... I'll still buy one if it's a 74U, 105, or MKM (Non-AK)! - Unless they are TM pricing, then no. (TM 416D go for about 900-1000 CAD + 13% sales tax.)
Got Wood?
Yeah. TM rifles in the uk are still about £420. I got my Cyma 74u with slightly harder to find plum furniture for £90. I could buy a fleet of them for the price of one recoil
Habakure
I miss my cyma aks74u, it was a bloody work horse (the old style with pot metal receiver and tm style take down). The bolt not moving should make it cheaper than a tm, in my book. Also, you won't see the bolt moving in game anyway. Unless you like to shoot blind and just look at your ak while the bolt goes back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. Poundin it. Poundin it. Poundin it. Yeah. . . if the price is right, this kwa might tempt me.
Cire_
For me (that use mostly AK's) it's cyma/dboys for cheap and make fun with weps and E&L for the serious one. But i'm hopeful this might be good aswell, waiting for a good video review.
Ryaw
I miss my 74U, so might be interested in this.
