Galaxy613
60 Round Cap? I thought they were spoosed to be compatible with the AK-74MN magazines but I guess not. "...the Magazine are of a completely new design also, so the standard Marui AK Mags can not be used with this gun..." Um, where did you see that they aren't compaditble with the AK74MN? Faint
I didn't say that. Redwolf claims the magaziens for the S74U is 60 not
Bloodsword
So what? They would still be compatible.
FireKnife
It may be that TM have actually made a new mag in the bakelite style and made it 60 rounds?? I hope these are good and are compatable with the AK74MN hi-caps as i will get one. 'FireKnife'
(V)atrix
I didn't say that. Redwolf claims the magaziens for the S74U is 60 not 74 It wouldn't be the first time RW was incorrect about the mag capacity of a pre-order new release... I'm not saying that's necessarily the case, but it's more likely than TM developing a completely new mag design for this gun when they just introduced the AKM mags not that long ago. L4byr1nth
Is it a full metal reciever, CA style, or just a metal lower reciever? Can't wait for this... Been wanting an AK for ages! Ben.
Sale
The mags hold 74 rounds and to me it looks 100% the same as the TM AK74MN mags, just a different color that's all. There's a hicap and standard magazine for the AK74MN available already, and the same mags will be available for the TM AKS74U in bakelite color. I got to fondle one of these babies today and it's really full metal in the actual meaning, including the part behind the handguards. -Sale

Danke
Shot the AK74MN version last night. The recoil engine made me thing of a pneumatic stapler or nail gun. Regardless, if I can't track down a VFC AK74U I'll have the TM flavor shown here.
