CRW Airsoft: Snake M4

Announcement of Metal Gear Solid type tactical equipment by CRW Airsoft was received with lot of interest. This news is even cooler (not to mention even cooler fact that picture is clickable):

If its a MGS4 mercenary (sorry: PMC) M4 carbine what you want, do not get this:

 

- wrong flash hider: should be a troy Medieval type one, like here:

- wrong rail system: should be a free floating RAS

 

- its probabily gonna cost 10-20% more than if you build it yourself

 

Here is what you need to do it right:

 

- M4 with 14.5" (normal) barrel

- free floating RAS

- flip-up sights, ARMS and PRI type

- Troy medieval flash hider

- Knight's Armament type tan-ODish front grip

- 6-positions/LE M4 stock in tan-ODish

- Knight's Armament type rail cover in tan-ODish on the left side

- M4 grip in tan-ODish

- Surefire M961 or M962 flashlight

- Eotech 552; if you want it in the same far front position as in the game, youll need a riser or it wont sit flush, as the RAS ring protudes between the two rail sections. The riser will set the Eotech too high, tough and it wont look exactly like in the game.

 

All these parts are available from chinese manufacturers for a reasonable price.

 

You still have the problem of where to put the battery: LiP in the stock tube is the way to go.

EPIC FAIL! That's just an M4 RIS with a PRI front sight and tan pistol grip and LE stock. WTF? Anybody can make that.

The PMC guys use SCARs. That M4 is correct, it's what you can get in the game. That image of snake holding it is old and the actual game uses the gun in the 1st picture.

in the game, you can't actually attach an eotech to it, only acog or aimpoint

Yeah the CRW custom m4 is wrong, the rail in the game is a free floating, now a standard ris. The flashhider is also wrong. I'm pretty interested in purchasing the MGS4 snake patch though.

it is very close ,with a few little differences?

 

the stock is a bit different

snakes M4's barrel is abit longer

the bit at the start of the RIS (i dotn know what its called i dont own a m16/m4/AR)

and few other little things

 

excuse me for being pciky but some fanboy has too

 

this is kind of pointless its nothing you cant pick up yourself, unless sale price works out cheaper

than if you did it yourself? Other then maybe the flash hider, you can always make one yourself (or i could anyway)
