0nslaught
G&G AKMS http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...AEG-AKMS_srch_1 doesnt look too bad
afallan
Looks pretty. If it's anything like my G&G RK47, then it should at least perform well. Now I have to debate whether I want to sell my 47 for this thing.
fryxharry
Afaik this is just a re-labeled Inokatsu/RMW AKMS, so it doesn't have anything to do with G&G's previous AK designs (except for internals, these might be G&G)
afallan
If it's rebranded, then the body should be steel correct?
freq88
wow that's news to me where did you here this?

afallan
Unfortunately the internals are the things on a G&G that are bad. They're internals aren't that bad. I've had my RK47 for about 2 years now and the only faulty part was the piston head. They're AK's internals are really good compared to their other guns.
Fin
Im waiting for a review as I'd be interested, wonder if there follow Inoks use of screws or trolled the forums and find out everyone prefers pins (VFC/RS)
fryxharry
wow that's news to me where did you here this? Ting mentioned it on the Red Alliance Forums. He also said he had no idea how they are able to sell it at that price. Imho we can't complain; even if the interals are crappy, it's still like 100 bucks cheaper than Inokatsu or RMW, and those come without internals.
expvideo
Now I'm excited. This is the exact same model as my real AK, so now I can have an airsoft version. All I have to do is convince the boss.
my_plague_666
for a RMW rebrand thats damn cheap. pistol grip doesnt look as nice, but meh, at least it comes in one piece and with internals (and i hear G&G have made big improvements on internals). makes me wonder when VFC will release their effort. Sop-pel
Is it steel of pot metal? G&G used to make body from silumins ( casting alloy of Al with Si - with was a very breakable metal )
my_plague_666
steel apparently. and i thought they used to use magnesium.
Jumprefusal
That was in the G&G design, not the Ino/RMW. I would also like to see evidence that this is indeed a ferarri with pinto internals, but the picture does indeed look like a RMW kit. Even the laminated wood looks good. my_plague_666
i was refering to G&G using magnesium. i know RMW have always used steel.
Sop-pel
@Plague You're right - my mistake : G&G used magnesium alloy.
Shroomalistic
damn I might be willing to sell my rpk to get one of these.
dookieboy
I'm buying one this monday... I guess I'll be the Official Arnies Guinea Pig
The Crunchy Bunny
Please Review it. It's so pretty. I think I'm about to have an AKgasm.
Magsz
Ive actually been thinking about picking up a couple of the AIMS and AKMS's from G&G. If they are cloned RMW kits then wow, they should be pretty darned good provided the internals actually function for more than 200 shots.

I'd prefer a clone based of the vfc AIMS then you should get Romanian selector markings (and the ushall advantages VFC has over inok) instead of Russian ones like you do with inoks (very lazy not to correct this IMO)
AK74M545
Hmm... i wonder what would be more solid this or the Real Sword? (the folding stock) like does the inokatsu have a very solid stock?
Mikhail_Slipchenko
I'm getting one of these too on Monday from wgcshop.

Haven't heard any bad things about Ino/RMW-stocks, so I guess they're ok. Even the locking mechanism doesn't seem to break on a regular basis
expvideo
From the pictures, the finish appears to be VERY authentic.
