As I understand it, this shoots about 280 FPS on green with .36s? What BBs weight of BBs would be best to use, and what is the velocity with them on green? The velocity limit at my site is approximately 1.8 joules, with a 20 foot MED. 280 w/ .36 would be 1.3 joules, but it seems from the soda can tests I've seen to have a fair bit of power. If I were to use it outside of 20 feet, would I be in danger of injuring anyone? Sorry, I'm just not too familiar with the power of 8mm. Also, sorry if this post is a bit jumbled, I haven't slept in a while.

I have a question for anyone who has experience with AK drum mags. I disassembled the mag that came with my RPK, and sprayed some silicon oil down the feeding tube and on the gears. I also ran some BBs coated in silicon oil through the mag. Now the mag will wind up completely in about 3 seconds, when it had been about 20 before. Did the silicon lube make that much of a difference? Now do I need to be worried about stripping the cheap plastic gears, burning up the thin wiring, burning out the motor etc.?

Ah, I'd always wondered how to clock RPS. I just checked my stock CA on an 8.4V, and it shot 22 RPS.

iloveics: Why does your wood kit fit so much better than mine? I did a fair bit of modification to the lower foregrip, but it never really fit right...
