  1. As an American, I'm glad they do. It's embarrassing. Nice picture, though
  2. I've been always a big fan of Cussler's Oregon Files series for light reading. Now that I'm done with military impressions I've decided to build a kit based on what I'd use if I were one of Juan Cabrillo's gun-toting shore ops crew members. This was totally up to me so I use what I have lying around. I need to get a new chest rig because my GP pouches interfere with belt-mounted magazine draw. I think I'll go BFG. For water I just throw on my Camelbak MULE. I'd like to pick up some kind of low profile armor carrier and move the chest rig TACO to the belt so I can run just armor and a
  3. Juan Cabrillo and the crew of the Oregon from Clive Cussler's Oregon Files.
  4. Rec7 complete, Oregon Files gundog loadout is almost ready.

  5. G&P based Barrett Rec7. I added a 2" extension to the Madbull Rec7 kit to end up around the correct 16" barrel. I have a 6.03mm AK length tightbore running into the flash hider.
  6. I think I may have the only one of these on Arnies at the moment. G&P based Colt lower, Barrett Rec7 upper. Would have gone full Barrett, but I like the G&P base gun way too much. I've gotten tired of military impressions and decided to emulate some of my favorite fictional characters instead.
  7. Got some parts in to start the next phase of my M4's life, something I haven't seen in this thread in a while. Now I just need to track down a MB 9" OmegaX in black. SOPMOD stuff will be for sale once I can be sure the OmegaX will fit. [/ URL] Also, no matter how many times I try to rotate the photo in Photobucket it still comes out like this. Sorry.
  8. The RIS II is either MB or SOCOMGear. I can't remember. I seem to have gotten lucky with the finish on it, though. It looks like the barrel nuts are the same. I looked on DD's site and it says that the Omega X uses their "Bolt Up" mounting system, which is the same as the RIS II. If that's the case, then I have the G&P spec nut.
  9. I have a question that you guys may be able to help with. I'm getting bored of my Block II setup and am considering changing into a Barrett Rec7. The issue is that I'd need to add a Madbull 9" Omega X rail. Will this fit a G&P upper receiver thread? I'm not even sure how those mount. I have the G&P barrel nut for my RIS II, but I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. And since this is a picture thread, here are some (pretty awful) pictures of my rifle as it stands.
  10. How was the blank-firing integrated into the scenario? Both in terms of safety and gameplay.
  11. I don't think my scope is a Hammers, or if it is it must be rebranded. It's a Centerpoint 1-4x. I was at the surplus store picking up a new TLR-1 for my Glock and ended up taking this home.
  12. If you're asking about mine, they're Crye Precision AC.
  13. My standard setup. It's going to be chest rig weather soon, though. -Emerson short sleeve combat shirt -Crye Precision AC pants w/ Airflex pads -Merrell MOAB Goretex mids -Tyr Tactical Gunfighter Belt -HSGI Universal double pistol pouch -EGL Loppy II dumper -HSGI TACO -Blackhawk! Gladius in duty pouch -Crye Gun Clip -SKD PIG Drop Slider sling -Mayflower APC -BFG 10-Speed triple -MRC triple mag inserts in cummerbund -Tyr 1.5L hydro pouch -Camelbak Pakteen
  14. This past Sunday, I'm on the right in Multicam. My buddy was using my FNC because his G36 broke down.
  15. Finally found a setup for my M4 that I like. The base is a G&P. I tried the uscmCorps photoshop method on the first picture, but I'm not as skilled as he is. My apologies.
  16. Does it not work like the VFC/real one? You take the gun down, remove the buffer spring (fake buffer spring on AS), and then the charging handle is free to move as far back as the rounded slot, where you can rotate and remove it.
  17. Nice! I got to play around with one at the store and I was impressed. Very solid, but light and pointable. The only reason I didn't buy it is because I went to the shop specifically to buy something old-school.
  18. You've got to be kidding me... http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=12766
  19. Very subtle. It reminds me of Far Cry 3.
  20. Thanks! I'm usually not an early adopter when it comes to new parts and accessories, but I like the stock quite a bit. It's pretty tiny but I guess it's not much smaller than the OEM one. It extends to about the same length as a full rifle stock. My only complaint is that they did away with the built-in sling loop and instead put a QD socket on the bottom. I'll just have to get a loop soon.
  21. I never quite know where to put this. I know it uses an AK-style piston but I doubt it will interest the AK boys, so I'll classify it by its magazine. I know that's a lot like judging a person by what he eats but, hey, I do that all the time. I couldn't pass up getting the current correct stock for my XCR, so here it is. I love this little gun. Echo1/VFC Robinson XCR -included foregrip (AIM?) -Element M600 -G&P T-1 -PTS Rainer mini-comp -*Madbull FAST stock*
  22. My G&P/SOCOMGear Block II: I'm pretty happy with it at this point, though it is a bit front-heavy.
  23. Upgraded my optic and barrel. It doesn't take too long to switch barrel lengths.
  24. Got a new optic and barrel for my VFC Mk.17. Now I just need to finish working on the guts.
