  1. Does the Hk3 Gen4 have the correct slide markings and the bigger Gen4 recoil spring guide? In all the online photos I've seen looks like a hybrid of Gen4 frame and a Gen3 slide...
  2. As emp3ror86 says, it must be just a 14.5" upper in a M16A1 lower from an early Mk18, since "Mk18" is just the Navy designation for the short guns. There has been flamewars in other (real steel) forums about the existence of LMT uppers or complete guns, but so far nobody has provided photos or proof of anything other that Colt uppers and lowers. It seems LMT just made the stock supplied by Crane NSW, and that seems the origin of the confusion.
  3. Man, just don't assume that the valves are the weakest part of the magazine or you can have a nasty explosive surprise. Better to use 134a until Ra-Tech or somebody else inevitably make reinforced gas tanks.
  4. WE finally has released CO2 magazines for the M&P ( or "Big Bird" as they call it ): http://www.weairsoft.com/accessories/pistol/magazines/co2/mg-bb-001c-bb-series-co2-magazine-set-compatible-with-big-bird-and-little-bird-series.html
  5. Here is a in-depth review with the internal disassembly (translated from japanese): http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fgungineer.matrix.jp%2Fairgun%2Ffix%2FTM%2FM870%2FM870_tantical.htm&langpair=ja|en&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
  6. Good lord, this thing is full of win, all other airsoft shotgun systems are now obsolete!
  7. Nice! It's nice to see a realistic looking G36 instead of some plastic parts just put together If you want to make it an almost perfect G36A2, change the KAC style vertical grip for the H&K type made by VFC. If you find the stock too long, you can change it for the shorter one of a G36C, as many german soldiers do. If you want to camo it, but don't want to use paint over the nice polymer body, you can use green tape like this:

  9. The perfect airsoft Glock magazine should be CO2 powered. A small metal frame inside a plastic casing. Imagine the new KJW 1911 CO2 slim mags inside a plastic Glock 17 magazine to get the idea.
  10. Thanks Sallinen, let's hope that the valve inside is not the same as the older mags...
  11. So, how are your mags holding up? They use the same valve with a short life span than the older ones or a new one more durable?
  12. The 97 (feed by AR mags) is the export version of the type 95 (not 5.56 and uses different mags), so western optics should be fine
  13. My first and only experience with AG: I ordered a few Beretta small parts back in October 2012. After several months, I don't have neither the parts or my money back. Only a useless tracking number and a few emails of empty promises. Not even an explanation of what happened to my order. Instead of the usual conventional cheap but slow mail for small items (seen in my many orders to other retailers for years), they used a shipping company I wasn't aware it even existed: www.quantiumsolutions.com. Looking up reviews about them it seems to have a bad reputation for cheap but incompetent
  14. For me, the ideal bullpup feed by STANAG magazines would be a Steyr AUG with the NATO stock. Both realistic and practical. IIRC, a member of this forum did a good decent conversion sometime ago. It should be an easy and cheap new gun to make. Almost the same design as the TM AUG with just a few changes (JG, are you listening? ).
  15. Not gullible, just not jumping into conclusions. Yes, PTS guns use the same designs as STAR/ARES/S&T/UFC/Army Force....etc, etc. But, which one is PTS's OEM? Why ARES and not S&T? Note that S&T already makes modified versions of ARES guns with 'new features', like the Tavor EBB. S&T is already an OEM for UMAREX, why not for PTS? See? There can be more than one suspect...
  16. Why do you guys keep talking about ARES when USMCCorps explicitly says they aren't the OEM behind PTS guns? Remember that there are companies cloning ARES-style guns and parts, like S&T and UFC. And WE cloned ARES G36s EBB body for their G36 GBB (with all the small errors)... maybe there is another unknow OEM behind all those, we have no way to know for sure. I'm my opinion, the only real sin of the PDR is the weak retaining pin holes. This is truly unforgivable in 2013 after *decades* of broken m4 plastic uppers. WTF was PTS thinking? Everything else is just the typical high
  17. If I recall correctly, M16A1 lowers used by Crane to make Mk18s were refurbished and repainted in flat black, so in this case the color used by Viper is fine. A Nigh Force Optics employee posted the only known photo of a real Recce in ar15com: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_118/303894_Pic_Request__Recce_style_rifles.html&page=53#i5314075 http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_118/520524_Official_Mk12_Mod0___Mod1_Photo_and_Discussion_Thread__Part_II.html&page=80#i5342324 "I posted a picture a few weeks back of an actual Recce rifle in the Recce rifle thread it's not nearly as fancy as all the "clones" pictured in that thread. The Recce rifle is a Dam Neck thing as the regular SEALs used the Mk12 quite heavily. I work with the guy at the
  19. Good lord, that Glock 19 is perfect RacingManiac! It makes me sad that without CO2 magazines for TM Glocks that beauty can't be as reliable in a game as a real Glock. I wish Taiwan had to endure an Ice Age or something...
  20. Check this Czech online shop: http://airsoftpro.cz/eshop/index.php?cPath=59_156
  21. Bumping this in hopes you read my last message :D

  22. Panoptes: An "early 2000's G36K (KSK)" would be a G36KA1, with markings like the ones on the second photo I posted above: HK G36KA1 Kal. 5,56mmx45 84 - 00xxxx <---serial in the low thousands, 2-3000+ or so, uses "84" as a prefix instead of "Bw" [bW square eagle proof mark ] 0x 11 <---year and month Before the G36KA1, the KSK issued the first early model G36K, the only marked just as "G36K" (SEF, carry handle w/dual optics, plain handguard with no rail attachment points, and barrel gas block without pin hole for AG3
