I dunno if I'm the only one, but seeing WW1 getting the Hollywood treatment by the likes of EA/Dice is a little galling.

I think its more about the tone more than anything. Its hard to explain in this little box but WW1 was drastically different to most wars that followed. Most people have an idea of what most of those wars were like so they're not really skewed by a games representation. I don't think (generally younger) people today will get an accurate depiction of the tragedy of WW1, from anything EA/DICE can pump out. Don't know if I'm really doing a good job of explaining it =/
