  1. You're right - When I was looking at the nozzle I didn't notice that it was two-parts, blame me looking at it at 2 in the morning after a long shift!
  2. Cooldown resistance on the GHK is better. On my (Properly cleaned and lubed) MP7, the nozzle is a two-part system and sticks. On the GHK, from what I can tell as it's a WA-pattern GBBR it has a one-piece nozzle. Correct me if I'm wrong on this; but it doesn't reciprocate as the bolt travels at least. I'm guessing this means there's one less point of failure. ROF isn't that much lower after rapidly firing 3 mags either! Range is the same as my MP7. I haven't fired enough to test accuracy yet but once I've got some .3s I'll be sure to let everyone know Screw the haters, I'm going to HK
  3. Apologies if there's another topic. Just a quick one about RedWolfAirsoft UK - I made my first order @ 1600 today and (cheekily) requested a next day delivery. Got a call 10 minutes later querying my UKARA reg number (All sorted) and the order was shipped in another 20 minutes! Top service. I look forward to my RIF!
  4. Got this a few weeks ago, and carbine kit arrived yesterday. It's pretty cool - Might sell the TM MP7.
  5. My friend uses double-stacked cardboard. Provides rigidity without adding too much weight, and can easily be cut to fit. I am considering experimenting with expanding foam.
  6. Considering the tank's in the stock, this clearly means Marui designed the M870 as an airborne weapons platform. Slap the stock and fire the entire shotgun at the enemy.
  7. I have/had exactly the same problem. I was lubing with sillicon oil. In the end I stopped using Predator Red as apparently that's got loads of lube in it. I switched to using dry propane/144a and this seems to have resolved the issue.
  8. Email them informing if you don't get a response by tomorrow, you'll file a paypal grievance.
  9. Dr Alexander Tobacco's review of the Tokyo Marui M870 Shotgun I give this gun Pain out of 10
  10. Hi there, LandWarriorAirsoft should have them. At least one or two!
  11. By universal holsters, do you mean ones made of nylon etc? If you mean plastic rigid holsters, it's important to remember that TM guns aren't a direct 1:1 replica - They're eeeever so slightly larger than normal which may cause more friction than is expected. I had the same issue with my TM-based P226 that I was using with an IMI 226 holster.
  12. Walk into the club like what up I got a big glock
  13. The last picture is what sold it for me. In a deciduous forest, in autumn, I'd imagine this would work very well indeed!
  14. Probably a stupid question; Would TM threaded barrels fit into the S19/17? I'm guessing yes, but dimensions can always be tricky.
  15. IWB Holsters - anyone use one (For airsoft)?

    1. FireKnife

      FireKnife

Yes but they are not that effective to draw from and unless they are game specific they can be quite a hinderance.

  16. Aha - Apologies Mr. Space, evidently I shouldn't make posts @ Midnight.. Edit: By "long discussion" you mean 5 minutes?
  17. Well I sure am an idiot. I've just taken apart the nozzle - But as I was unscrewing the screw that keeps the two parts together, the spring that pulls the nozzle in/out snapped off and flew away. Does anyone know what it should look like? If I can't find one, where can I get another? Another quick question - The O-ring doens't seem to be broken, and there's no dirt. Apart from lube, what can I do to ensure it will actuate correctly?
  18. Quick question: What was the consensus on the Stark Arms G17? I'm trying to decide between the 19 or the 17.

I haven't held a G19 before so I'm not sure if it would be good for my hand or not :s

Thank God it isn't 2mm's, more like 0.5-0.75mm. 2mm, blergh. Well then I can't help you if that's what you are after, check the review and news threads for them both.

I checked out the G17 at the local shop, only held it and wasn't that fussed on the stippling. I need to pop back today anyway, so I'll have a test fire and I'll be able to give a brief comparison vs a TM G18C - not exactly like for like, but it may help. If they have a G17 or a G19 in stock, I'll have a test fire of those too!

  19. I'm guessing I'll need to give it a good clean, as I got it *extremely* dirty on Saturday.
