Haha sorry for the confusion. I am sure it would work fine if mounted the right way round, but, unlike most other buttons, this one (DBOYS) is not secured by some form of seperate screw, but screws directly onto the other piece of the mag release. This is however, all but impossible (unless I'm missing something obvious) to do while actually on the receiver (due to those raised edges). It's just easier to mount it backwards, and tbh I've come to like it, it's original Lawrence, nice rifle! The motorgrip looks somewhat uncomfortable, but certainly looks bad *albatross*.

Haha, yea, I'm aware of that. It's a terrible design, to be honest. Far easier to fit it backwards, and it works every bit as well.

Thanks, xtestifyx! The paracord is admittedly not my idea, I was inspired by TheBauer's VSR, which was fashioned similarly. It can be useful if I need a place to stow a glove or summat momentarily, and can be used for local cam.

As seen in Knights and DMRs, because I love 'em My M16 DMR and Frankenstein Knights M4 (made up of 90% spare parts) The M16 is a WIP at the moment, all it needs is a rear BUIS, a fuse, a connector, and a battery with enough mAh to pull the silly spring I slapped in there. The DMR externals are CA, optics are ACM, and all internals are Guarder save the hop, barrel, and spring (CA, CA, and Prometheus, respectively), G&P m160 motor The M4ish thing is: DBoys Metal Knights Reciever SRC forend CA Gearbox (laylax piston head and PDI air nozzle) KA hop chamber Madbull

Already in Painted Weapons Thread, but I'm just so happy with it! Old M15A4, new fleck inspired look Edit: forgot to actually post pics lol

Thanks Wolfman! I'm thinking of adding some more green to it, but I think I'll wait till the snow melts to see if it's really necessary. And I like your setup Agent Hunk, especially the runes...could I ask why they're there?

Oldish, but just touched up the other day, painted bolt, triggerguard Not great lighting, really, but I'm tired and cba. Bit of an artsy shot....not really but I like it

Okay, we get you were being sarcastic with the whole animal cruelty thing. Way to carry on about it. Real mature of you.
-
Quick question: Did the supressor fit onto your barrel threads nicely? My threaded end of my M15 seems to be too big and refuses to accept my silencer or any of my flash hiders (the real reason my above pictures have no flash hiders). Best of luck!

How old is that kid with the FAMAS? He looks to be around eight. ZOMG!!! WE HAVE BEEN INFILTRATED BY LITTLE KIDS TOTING FRENCH ASSAULT RIFLES!!!!!!!!!!! RRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!! lol.

Yes, in actual skirmishes I use a Tasco ProPoint, or sometimes a scope w/o the carry handle, but that's it.
-
Hehe, yea, I was wondering when someone would notice that. I baught it from a friend, and he had to find the flash hider. I should get it in about 2 days, along with the afore mentioned mags. Yeah, I could've put all kinds of junk on it, but somehow, I just prefer the simple, un-raped look.
-
My new (used) CAM15A4 I'll be getting some more mags for it soon, the one shown is broken .

Well, I don't have photoshop ( I really want it right now, though), so this photo is completely un-messed around with. It's not amazing, like some of the others in this thread, but I thought it was pretty cool. I probably should've used a higher res setting, it's a little blurry.

you know, this thread made me decide to cange my avatar, and I had the same problem. Would you believe it took me half an hour to realise this was the same problem and when I looked back at this thread, I fixed it in 2 seconds.........man did I feel dumb

Well, I've talked to Ivery and pretty much apoligized for my neg rep. He braught it to my attention that arnie was behind him and why. I am satisfied. The main thing I was upset about was the deleting of his account, as banning him seems to have been the right choice. I was upset that it would be impossible to access any useful information posted by Sid. Ivery has informed me that the info is still accessible. So, as I have said. I am content. I will of course, miss Sid's presence on these forums. In my opinion, he will be missed by most members, but his removing was necessary. Oh, these
