wolfgeorge
Just with the external co2 rig? It's pretty impressive. I don't want to go all the way there, I'm building an HPA rig for my classics currently, I don't want to use it on the DSR... yet! Wolf
mugur
All i have done is under the scope and inside the mag. If my variations would have been bigger than 1m/s i would have canceled the co2. But now, the rifle stay as it is.
wolfgeorge
Can you post some more photos of the rig? how did you fit it in there? Also some on it info are welcome Thanks George
Sophist
Hi! I'm going to get Magpul RSA or Daniel Defense QD Sling Swivel for DSR-1 sling. Anyone uses them? Any feedbacks? Is it possible that the screw on the attachment turns off at the course of action?
tigerdan
I have a question for AW338 owners. I was wondering if a AW338 can use real AI AW rifle's body panel. Also, is the AW338's dovetail mount on the receiver real spec so I can add a RS AI picatinny rail? Cheers.
mugur
Hi! I'm going to get Magpul RSA or Daniel Defense QD Sling Swivel for DSR-1 sling. Anyone uses them? Any feedbacks? Is it possible that the screw on the attachment turns off at the course of action? i have the DD qd on mine and works perfect. The DD has an internal steel thread, you will not break that easily. @wolf: i already said all i can say. for now.
Sophist
i have the DD qd on mine and works perfect. The DD has an internal steel thread, you will not break that easily I see. Thanks! And one more thing about AW.338 Ares/Well. The Ares AW.338 owners advise to replace the stock outlet valve for a fuel hose offcut. It should be the reinforced hose? Or it's possible to use a simple rubber hose. HPA upgrade: 200 psi. Thanks!
mugur
simple hose. no idea what you are doing with 200 psi, i shot 170m/s with 120 psi...
C.Huffman
Id like to know how this HPA rig is utilized. Im afraid to tap the m200 mag of my ares....
teflon don
congratulations your first post that isn't a necro i use a co2 kit sold by begadi, it doesn't require drilling or tapping it just screws in instead of you fil valve the kit works 12 gram co2 bottle but you can screw a regular co2 tank too (so i guess that a hpa tank will fit as well)
wolfgeorge
Yes but the M200 has the fill valve at the side facing the bolt, so you won't be able to fit the Begadi kit and you'll have to drill and tap the mag. Wolf
Sophist
simple hose. no idea what you are doing with 200 psi, i shot 170m/s with 120 psi... Sorry for delay! At Ukraine it's allowed 250 m/s.By the way, happy New Year guys!
Fisherpruce
Hey everyone. Its been a while since I have played with my DS-R. But I have dusted it off and I am looking for spare magazines. While searching for them I noticed that few shops have ever carried the rifle, and that even fewer have them in stock. Has the DS-R been discontinued? Anyone have a lead on where I can get some magazines?

bowen771
well I'm getting into airsoft sniping more i've been using a well l96 and I'm wanting a upgrade. I just got a couple months ago a kwa mp7 (awesome) and thinking of getting the ares aw 338 with a hop up http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=10695 a barrel http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=31388 a hop up spacer http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=31599 and co2 mags(?) http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Magazines_SHOOTER_Sniper_Shooter_23rds_CO2_Magazine_for_ARES_AW_338_font_color_red_Export_Only_font.htm so I must ask the owners: is it worth the money? I will be using this at weekly skirmishes.
wolfgeorge
Don't bother with Ares, I have 3 Ares so far ALL had their problems (WA2000, M200 and DSR-1) The biggest issue is the leaks. They leak from everywhere, mags connection between bolt-mag, so because of that they are very inconsistent. Wolf
