Sabachthani
I've been looking nigh on forever (meaning about a week) for multicam BDUs. I'm 5'11" with a 36 waist. I've tried Ebaybanned, but their sizes are only Extra Small, Small, and Medium. http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?cPa...products_id=927 I've tried SKD as well, with no such luck, as their BDU SHIRT comes in my size, but the pants, unfortunately, do not. pants http://www.skdtac.com/index.asp?PageAction...&ProdID=544 I'm currently waiting on an e-mail from SEALS Action Gear about their pants/shirts, but I didn't see a "we do not have it in this size" message, so I'm hoping against hope here. Not even going to TRY the actual Crye Precision website. I can barely afford to even look at that website. --- I soon came across Optactical's website though, and found Multicam for 40 dollars. Naturally I thought this was too good to be true. http://www.optactical.com/uncl.html This thread, however, seems to list OPTactical as a reliable source. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...5&hl=SKDTAC So can anyone vouch for it? If it's legit, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be overjoyed.

From my standpoint its probably the best you can get that isnt 100% bought from Crye stuff. Generally speaking it will be around 35USD for tops and bottoms but comes in all the sizes in small, normal, and long making Propper my favorite brand of camo (talking to someone who is XL L top and L L bottoms!) gonzo1
OPTactical is definitely good to go. They rock.
Sabachthani
That's what's so weird though xD. All the other multicam stuff I see is upwards of 100-200 dollars for a set, but a pant/shirt set from Propper is only 100 -tops-?
James Kelly
The only Propper Multicam that I have seen seems to be of standard BDU/ACU cut, though made from the multicam pattern fabric. Meaning: It is not the design with the pads on the elbows and knees. It retails locally for $40 each for the top and pants, which is not bad at all, as it seems to be of relatively good quality, if not an exact replica.

They currently hold the largest contract for the Army's ACU, which means they can afford to out-price everyone else.

BDU and ACU cut are quite different, ACU cut does have integrated Knee pads and Elbow pads, my set of Digital Woodland in ACU cut confirms this and they DO fit MC knee pads. BDU cut is the standard US Woodland cut, has no kneepads, no elbow pads, no slanted pockets, no velcro, no... The Propper MC that my roommate bought came in ACU cut and took Crye Kneepads w/out a hitch! (he didnt put in the elbow pads so I cant tell you there) http://www.gearzoneproducts.com/index.asp?...amp;ProdID=3265 http://www.gearzoneproducts.com/index.asp?...amp;ProdID=3267 Both of those state clearly "Elbow/Knee pockets with velcro closures for internal Elbow/Knee pads"
Azulsky
http://www.bdu.com/ propper stuff in there under premium bdu There used to be a code floating around hereabouts that gave like 10% off, i think it was uniforms. A search on google should reveal it easily.
imp1864
try desert duce supplies. they are on ebay but worth googling. my kit was bought from them. both tru spec and propper.
Sabachthani
Hmm...would it be a viable option to get different multicam pieces in different places? I plan on getting the BDU in one place and the vest in another, and from the pics that I'm seeing...they seem to be different shades. It might be the lighting or what have you, but I'd rather not have a redder shade of BDU and a more green tinted vest O_x.
tshrake521
optactical is awesome I had the order number in about an hour from placing order, shipping was in 2 days NC--->Indiana Gear is high quality and approriate price
pjones
www.bdu.com I know this is like the third thread I've mentioned them in, but I do it because they have BDU cut and ACU cut uniforms in multicam.
Sabachthani
Well, I know where my options -are-; that's not really the problem. I'm just worried that if I piece together a BDU from varying sites, they'll end up being different shades.
MAA_Elvis
Well, I know where my options -are-; that's not really the problem. I'm just worried that if I piece together a BDU from varying sites, they'll end up being different shades. I wouldn't worry about that. As long as you are buying Propper or TruSpec, you should be fine. They both use actual Crye fabric. The reason the Multicam appears to look different on websites is more than likely due to the lighting the photo was taken in. For example, I have the Crye R6 field shirt and pants. In my house they appear to have a more greenish hue. Outdoors, in bright sunlight, they appear more tan. In addition, The gear, vest, or LCE color you use over Multicam can also cause it's shade to "change"...
BigAl
The fabric used by Tru Spec and Propper is made by themselves not Crye, hence the slight variance in colour. It is however made under License from Crye and as such is within their tolerances. I wouldn't worry about it, if you look at real troops their fatigues often look mismatched, either as their of differant manufacture or simply a top might be older than a pair of trousers. Pariah_WP
Optactical and BDU.COM are both great, but I love Barre Army/Navy too. They are just great with your orders and they now have a nice selection of MULTICAM gear. Their shipping is very reasonable too.
kliskey
I buy from Optac quite often. And they are very reliable - Infact I have never had a problem with them sending it to the UK (Touch wood ) If you are dedicated to Multicam, and are willing to spend a little extra, you should consider OPS. They are made with Genuine Crye Multicam. Not the good looking ###### from eBaybanned The shop Ur Tac has an extensive array of whats available and the eBay shop is just as good - (Note that the prices look different, but once shipping is added they are the same) The sizes arnt very impormative. However, I think a medium to large would fit you just fine
