Fatal
A little late but here are some of my buddies with rigs on over their IBA's
Azulsky
RRV!!! gucci marine!! Camping Pad/Mat is like at any Surplus/Outdoors store. Its mostly a nice blue color.
masakarijoe
hmmm... ill have to find a surplus store then. maybe an outdoor store? nice bike fatal... did it run? -Joe
Squeezee
That's interesting, the M203 guy has one of those bandoleers rigged to his thigh. Unless it is a thigh mag pouch. Joe, you can buy the foam at walmart in the camping section, some fabric stores, or online. It's pretty much a foam mat that goes under your sleeping bag. So anyway, my OTV might come today. Should I fill it out with something too?
masakarijoe
yeah, thats pretty common. that work, and are low profile ill check out walmart sometime soon -Joe
Agent Hunk
Way to thin and flimy to be worn without something in there IMO.
Azulsky
Nothing like camping pad softarmor and cardboard plates lol. For plates i eventually cut a peice of wood and sand down the edges really fine
Squeezee
I think I will try to put in some foam or cardboard SAPIs if it is possible.
Azulsky
Cardboard works you just have to get it a few layers thick and tape it otherwise it will bend and then you just look awkward running around like that
-MOOSE-
RRV!!! Nope, that a BHI STRIKE Commando rig. http://www.optactical.com/stcoreve.html
Azulsky
Oh plz its basically the same vest
masakarijoe
your mom's the same vest... but seriously, thats because they sell BHI gear on bases, thats why it would be BHI. i dont like their stuff (except their nomex gloves), i walk right past their aisle when im shopping at the PX -Joe
Azulsky
I dont think BHI is terrible, i just think other stuff is better. BHI gets a whole aisle at the PX, not fair
masakarijoe
they are way overpriced. and specter also has a whole section... now thats what i like. -Joe
Azulsky
If they sell them at BHI prices they are terrible. If they are at optactical prices then its admissible. Im going to have to ninja into one of these PX's
masakarijoe
they sell them at PX prices... but still too much -Joe
Squeezee
Who else has aisles? I can't believe that. When I was at Camp Darby in Italy they had no gear whatsoever. Anyway, I'll try to find some cardboard and make them.

Agent Hunk
If anyone is looking to build a USMC kit, PM. I got tons of spare gear lying about. Have an IBA with inserts(Expired) and tons of issued pouches. Wish I could keep this stuff, but that's life for ya.
Squeezee
Hey Joe, I was just on ebay and saw a few IBA's with inserts. I just searched for "IBA".

Squeezee
IDK, I didn't check the description. I would check for you but my mom will kill me if she finds me on the computer. I'm supposed to be going to bed early so that I can wake up for school (Which doesn't start for another 2 weeks). I hope I can come here in tech class. I think I saw some small inserts on some online store though. I'll try to find them.

Squeezee
You should invest your money in a laptop or mobile PC. Arnies 24/7! Not to go off topic but I write books for fun, and now I write with the intent of publishing so I was thinking of buying a laptop. But my mom already said even if I pay for the entire thing I still will be limited on usage. I'd like one of those digital writing tablets that is also a laptop. Back on topic now! Joe, the two I saw were sizes medium and large.
