1st Commando
Can anyone confirm the correct npas is the retech open bolt npas for M14 and pdw open bolt ?
AnakChan
1stC, it seems to :- http://en.ratech.com.tw/product/html/rag/rag_we_detail/rag_we_detail_028.php
1st Commando
cheers mate , we might just buy the npas valve rather than the full bolt carrier seeing as there are quite a few G36s to buy them for and it would get very expensive Cheers again
AnakChan
I don't know if this works or if RA-T simply hasn't updated their web page :- http://en.ratech.com.tw/product/html/rag/rag_we_detail/rag_we_detail_026.php
1st Commando
aye that is what we were looking at Cheers for your time mate
Reppyboyo
Yea using a NPAS in mine. Nozzle needs some filing however.
Riko
hmmm, leaves me with the question how do you dissasemble the whole nozzle/valve from the bolt itself?? I tried it, but I didnt get beyond the big spring that returns the valve in the bolt piece....
Break100
while you guys discussing npas and other more important issues, i'm really frustrated with loading bbs into the mag. i have almost all WE's ggbr products, but i really do not expect that i have a very significant issue with this *fruitcage* stupid thing in this awesome g39c! i tried many ways to load bbs into the mag but still dont work. Ironically, i can fix almost every trouble with WE gbbr products, but now i really feel so *fruitcage* stupid because i do not see any of you having the same trouble as mine. Riko
Hmm i dont remember from wich gun my speedloader is, i think from my robo gun OR the one i got with my WE Scar, but when using that i can load the mag with 30 bb's in no time! But i admit, without that tool, its a slow and hard process
Reppyboyo
I just use the included loader, works fine. Seems to destroy speedloaders though. Dis-assembling the bolt is easy. Remove bolt. Punch out pin at rear of bolt. Unscrew and remove both rail guides either size of the nozzle assembly. Pull nozzle out. Use a pin/pick to push out the tiny pin that holds together the two parts of the nozzle assembly. Separate halfs, the valve and spring will drop out from the front. Easy. TechnoMagi
Is the magazine capacity actually 30 rds? 'Jarek the Red Dragon' states its only 22 rds (The only count I've really heard on various reviews) but I don't trust that 'tards word very much. Also, just how hard does it kick, compared to a WOC, or other GBBrs out there? Will it still kick harder than a modified Magna system gun?
Riko
Ow, there is a pin ON the nozzle itself? Didnt see it.... Gonna look closer next time or can you post a pic pls of that tiny pin?
Reppyboyo
The mag holds about 32rds. Kicks harder than my open bolt PDW. Thats the only thing I can really compare it to. The pin is half way up the nozzle, just above the seam line. Cant miss it.
GingaNinga
Will admit that I am having issues with loading as well. Horrible system, and the included loader isn't real helpful. I need to tilt it at a weird angle and most of the time I feel lime I am just grinding up the BBs as they go in. On a separate topic... I bought mine here in Japan a few days ago and the shop keeper said that it had been powered down for Japanese markets. Anakchan spoke to another shop and they said that the imported ones wereno different from the HK version. Some investigating shows that UFC (union fire company) has brought them in for Echigoya, but that they are also carried by another company in Japan (can't remember the name, it's the one listed on the WE homepage). All this to ask if anyone knows if there are multiple versions of this gun? On HFC gas I am getting mid 60 to low 70 meters per second. I seem to run low on gas quickly, and performance seems less than ideal. Temp has been about 12-15 degrees during testing. Doesn't seem consistent with the low 90 numbers that were shown in the RA-Tech video a bit back. It's very well done, I just need to see if I can increase velocity with the standard version (if there are any differences with the standard and Japanese versions) or find a source of propane here in Japan...and figure out how to load it faster . AnakChan
I must say I find loading these mags are tonnes easier than loading up M4 Prowin mags. I can load these quite easily like the way RA-T has done it in their videos. I'm not using the WE loading tool. [Targeted for the greater audience to back up what I said to dStole offline] About the various variants, aside from external customs by UNCo, AirsoftGlobal, eHobby, etc. on converting to G36K, etc. The NPAS only popped up being WE39C compatible very recently. I asked the shops in HK and to Airborne in Japan. As such that's why I believe Airborne when they said what they bring in is the same as what WE produced out of the factory. If UFC were to power down, they would have to either use RA-T' NPAS or custom their own to do so, of which the price would be much more than what we currently see in Japan. I'm getting a very legal 78 -> 89m/s with 0.2g on HFC134a with my stock WE G39C.
Break100
AnakChan: It would be most appreciated if you could let me know what bb loader tool are you saying about, a pic would be great. Btw, i got 370 fps with 0.2 and green gas. Edited November 17, 2010 by Break100
-Clover-
I've been using one of these guys to great success: I can't speak to the plastic-quality of other brands, but mine's a Tokyo Marui, and it's been holding up just fine (for now)
AnakChan
As with Clover. That's what I've been using. Easier than the M4 mag style loader.
danielsilva
How the hell do you use that type of speed loader ? I had 4 different speed loaders on me this last game and couldn't "speed load" my M14 mags even if my life depended on it.
AnakChan
Don't think I said "speed" but it did load . In all honesty though, I find I can load it as easily as RA-T. [i seem to keep referencing the same video, but at various points] :- http://www.youtube.com/user/ratech5915#p/u/5/0F-zL7YnDV8 (closer towards the end at 6:26)
-Clover-
Yeah, I wouldn't say it's "fast" to load, but it gets the job done relatively quickly.
mnmc10
i use the same type of bb loader minus the nozzle on that pic. i also use my pointer finger and thumb to pinch the mag lip while im loading it with bbs. pinch the lips to cover the entry and exit path of the mag lip. Break100
I'm planning to order some replacement parts for stock but i'm not sure yet what parts i should get, a nozzle set may be or a charging handle? those are parts i would think to break sooner than other. Break100
Field test. Hop up dialed to first level resulting over hop to the bb (i used 0.3). If dialed back to zero then the bb rolled out.
