Finbarqs
finally! Will ship on Dec. 1st! http://www.inokatsu.com/ShowMainProduct.asp?MovieId=43 btw, does anybody know what 1911 is that based off of? Apparently the top pics (the one outside the wooden box) is pre-anodization.
aznriptide859
So it's a limited run?
Sallinen
Ahh, I've been looking at the photo's for half a hour, sad I probably could'nt afford one even if I tried to buy one... It says sales ended, I suppose it was for the 25 pcs to taiwan?
sharingan
hmmm well the order was open up for distributors right? not retail/ end user? Damn I want one of those
Sallinen
If these were/are under 700 dollhairs, which I doubt very much, I will get one. Over that and its just too much for my wallet, or whats left of it... I will laugh at my own stupidity if these are well over a thousand dollars... I hope they'll make a hundred of those every year so I have a chance to get one someday... And IMO they should save the money on those boxes even though they look nice, I bet the box brings atleast 50usd to the price, not much in the total price but enough to make me sad. Well, a man can dream...
Aitch
if they are over $700 that's all they will be, a dream, I can afford one, but I'd rather have 3 western arms than 1 inokatsu
FireKnife
Well i just hope that if someone does buy it then it either performs or can take TM parts, as for a display piece that is a high price tag and really as a shooter you aren't going to be taking it to a skirmish every weekend are you. I suppose in Japan were owning a real firearm is nigh on impossible legally then this is about the best they can get, but for players (not collectors) like me this is a no, not at even half that price. Though saying that it has come down from $1000 odd to near $700. 'FireKnife'
uscmCorps
If they've come up with a design that accepts RS aftermarket parts and yet be derived from the TM 1911 system, I'm all for it.
Sallinen
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnH_VyIjv-8&feature=youtube_gdata_player Well it seems it cycles, atleast 7 rounds. Im wondering if they use modified kj co2 mags or are they unmodified. Getting more mags could be a pain in the *albatross* if they have reregulated the mag etc. Does someone know the pricetag yet? E: And there is moar nies photos.
sharingan
They should working with unmodified kj gas & co2 mags...I am wondering what happen to B grade 1911 and what is not perfect. The sound of the shooting is very weired...make a blopp sound instead of "kling kling" metal sound
Aitch
I thought they were not shipping to the US? due to trade issues/realism and US customs being over zealous?
NonEx
Wow... what a waste putting KJW 1911 CO2 mags in that thing with the added bumper... total dealbreaker. Why not make their own mags. Even the KWC 1911 CO2 has a flush mag design... Don't get hung up on how it sounds on a YouTube video recorded with a low end camera, most likely nothing like the sound of it actually being fired.
Firefly0
That mag on the video doesn't look like a KJW mag, also the recoil seems very low for a gbb with steel slide and bbu powered by CO2 :/
sharingan
damn....I just realized that those 100 limited 1911 were sold to end users
sharingan
Note: Since the Edit function is not working properly and not available anymore I will make a double post. I managed to get one of the 25pcs Taiwan batch Thx to my friend in HK... Price tag is high but still cheaper than Clairence Lai Custom guns
Sallinen
How much was/is it? Get some pics as soon as you get it
sharingan
Below 1500USD.....Let's see if Inokatsu really send him one piece to Taiwan. On first december we will see. Yeah I wil keep you guys informend. I guess I will convince Gregor from AATV to make a video review
NonEx
Mweh, insane amounts of money... :S But yeah, video review would be awesome!
Aitch
$1500, how much is a 1911 firearm?
RacingManiac
$1500, how much is a 1911 firearm? As low as $3-400 for some of the cheaper brand and probably much more to the more expensive one....
NonEx
But then again a real 1911 is not a limited run 100 pieces collectors item. Let's hope everything is steel like they say, hate to look for parts down the road
wolfgeorge
Is it final... it will be limited production gun? Or just the first batch? It will be the same for the Desert Eagle? Wolf
Finbarqs
I snagged one, and my price was $1K exact. And since THESE ARE MADE IN TAIWAN, no shipping "to Taiwan" is required. Just found out: These limited editions will have rifle barreling as well too! And yes, that price includes a single MAG But their using KJW. Inokatsu is having problem with their own version of the 1911 mag, and it'll be open to accommodate CO2. It's a CO2 ONLY gun. So this means that it still IS in production! Oh yeah, they're going to make a "standard distribution one" shipped to Red Wolf. The 25 pcs limited edition is hand assembled and made sure these are perfected. The red wolf one will be less, and less detailed. Which means a cheaper price tag too Which 1911 is this based off of? I thought 1911A1 were gun metal? This one looks black. paranoiddroid
colts bluing is meant to be a deep charcoal black could it be blued?
aznriptide859
So $1000? Oh deary do a review once you get it.
