leothelion
Right well there is a spring lol.. charging handle spring KRISS-116 is attached to the frame. So I got a small screw driver and bluetack to create a stopper so it couldnt recoil into it hole. Part 501 is the only problem - they are the smallest hex/allen key screws ever!! 1 or .5 in metric. These would be small for a borrower!

leothelion
Cause I know everyone is on tender hooks.. Ive fixed the Vector and its awesome. Will upload a picture of the guilty part for future reference when I get the chance. Had to bite the bullet and (with the help of the manual) break apart the lower reciever. Couple of springs to look out for but remarkebly easy. Gives a good opportunity to clean the bolt channels as well.
Im going space
Kwa got back to me! A new upper is $70 plus postage ( :'( ) so about $100. If anyone wants anything from the proshop, let me know by the 31st.
Im going space
suppose i should get this going again. i kept hearing people saying that NPAS dont last very long in the vector, but cant see any evidence of this. so my NPAS has arrived and i will be installing it this weekend and testing it on sunday. Habakure
Got a dangerwerx replacement valve in mine, haven't seen the npas being used in a kriss. Be interested to see how that pans out.
Im going space
Couldnt find a dangerwerx. Didnt look that hard, but wanted it asap and couldnt see any in the UK.
leothelion
I looked and couldnt find much info on the npas working with the KRISS. Dangerwerks was recommended. What fps have you got with your valve habakure?
Habakure
At last chrono (it wasn't very warm) around 270fps with green gas. Let me find a link to were I got mine, in the UK. Edit:- It's out if stock, but this is where I bought from:- http://m.airsoftsniperparts.com/site/webs_76995850/home?utf8=?&sort=&query=Dangerwerx&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.airsoftsniperparts.com%2Fapps%2Fwebstore%2Fsearch#3020 Edited September 6, 2013 by Habakure
leothelion
Thanks for the link my friend. I guess the DW is the lesser of 2 evils. I would have liked to kept a 320 fps but that maybe a pipe dream. Edited September 6, 2013 by leothelion
Habakure
I think the suppressor that you can get for the Kriss, increases the fps (not sure by how much though). I think the fps is fine, more the hop up rubber and inner barrel that's the main thing.
Im going space
Cant get the *fruitcage* nozzle pins out >_>
leothelion
Use a needle precision screwdriver and a hammer haha. Remember to heat the lugs up with a hair dryer - soften up the metal.
Im going space
Did it, just one was stiff. All working
