I also learned today sometimes in life you just have to say '*fruitcage* it' and move on. Having not edited anything in about 5 years I have managed to cut down and edit a few scenes for a long DVD in quite a quick time along with using the typical tricks you can get away with on some productions. I picked one up, racked the slide to see how the action was and then struggled to get the slide to go back to battery. The damn thing got stuck and needed to be pushed forwards with force. Seriously first week of summer holidays I can get to work in ten minutes flat where as it used to take 25-30. Now it is a breeze and I can drive with the windows down, enjoying the journey.
