NonEx
Seen Mafioso airsoft posting some photos of some of the smaller steel parts they have in development on Facebook but just not realized it looks like they are doing a full steel kit. https://www.facebook.com/mafiosoarms/ Obviously the below pic is a CAD drawing but I have seen actual photos in my Facebook feed of the barrel, selector, magazine release and perhaps some other of the smaller parts. Cesare
It is more or less complete Barrel, upper and lower body, selectors, bolt Damn I think I might just have to get it! Just wish it was parkerized
icolater
Mafioso stuff is great!! Might get the Tommy just for this kit.
Brigg
How much will it cost in kidneys?
Gunnman
Brigg, if you have to ask, you can't afford it lol
Wooly_Booly
Another steel kit is being produced by New Generation too. https://www.facebook.com/New-Generation-1039180512867132/ Some parts of it actually look more detailed than the Mafioso kit, the bolt looks like it covers the hopup unit, and comes with a mock ejector as a separate part. Cesare
But they are two distinctly different companies? Are you sure it is not the same product sold under different name?
Wingmann
How much will it cost in kidneys? Not more than two per person.
Wooly_Booly
But they are two distinctly different companies? Are you sure it is not the same product sold under different name? They both posted different 3d models within just a day of each other with some pretty significant differences, and they both appear to be working on different timelines. I've got no reason to think they're the same company.
NonEx
The New Generation 3D model looks pretty... basic. Almost polygon based like. Jagged edges, chamfers and filets missing etc. But perhaps that is just a rough work up 3D model and not their source "CAD" material, or a poor rendering engine to display their CAD model. Also their page was started August 2016 and their other products (photos) shown look pretty basic and I've not seen or heard of them before. So I will bet Mafiosos kit will probably be better and easier to get a hold of. Unlike Mafioso, they only have photos of front sights as of yet. Fun fact, there is a batch of 50 front sights in that box Not trying to trash these guys and say Mafioso are the best but from what I can see so far from them it doesn't look like a safe bet. Oh well, competition is always good I suppose. I also don't think they are the same company.
icolater
Wouldn't be surprised though if they where the same company, good way to saturate the market.
NeoVeNoM
Brigg, if you have to ask, you can't afford it lol Depends on who's kidneys he is going to use to pay for it. for a minute there I thought they would come up with some kind of tacticool kit. Glad they are not.
tquilha
It's nice to have a steel body kit, but how about a conversion kit for the M1928?
vietnammarine
It's nice to have a steel body kit, but how about a conversion kit for the M1928? I am afraid it’s too different. It actually might be easier to fit WE’s internals to Denix M1928 model gun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wooly_Booly
So absolutely no clue on the source or the validity, but someone over on the WE / Cybergun Thompson GBB Owners Group made a post saying a little birdy told them the 1928 is coming soon and the G3 is postponed.
Brigg
I had seen that as well. Though, since they didn't back that claim up at all with any source at all (They literally did say 'a little birdy'), i'm gonna call bs. Not that i think they couldnt make a 1928, but they havent shown any sort of prototype. What they have shown though is a fully functional, complete G3.
sandstorm
When WE comes out with the G3, I bet first 30 will be turned to SBS's within a week... And the rest will be fitted with wood kits. Unless WE offers those from the word 'go' and gets buried in kidneys.

icolater
Both produce top top end products. Expensive but class non the less.
CZFan
i'll never buy a 3000$ kjw pistol with a metal kit so I wouldn't know one from a guarder kit anyway. oof I am in a mood today eh
icolater
Steel kit with all steel internals. Only uses kjw co2 mags as an option.
CZFan
KJWs are now 90% steel internals.... same air system tho no?
icolater
Yep it's the marui system.
icolater
BTW sorry for double post but I didn't know kjw 1911s have steel innards. Is it just hammer housing parts like sear, hammer etc.?
